It does not surprise me at all. As a class, reporters have low morals, bad character, and a Socialist worshipping complex. I don’t think that it has reached the point of Sodom where God promised Abraham that He would spare Sodom if there was one righteous reporter. There should be at least two remaining.

Is this part of the “journalistic ethics” I’ve heard about?

I would totally rape her.

The S.O.B. that said this, should be totally shot.

The story of two Pearls

Daniel Pearl was another journalist attacked by evil men in the Middle East. He was beheaded.

How long did it take us to forget about him? The media will soon forget about this evil too, or try to mollify its intensity. Who knows? Perhaps even Lara Logan will contribute later to their template by praising the few who rescued her--BUT the images of what evil men do are undeniable: western men and women are murdered just because they EXIST.

Nicholas Berg was beheaded, security workers in Fallujah were set afire and hung from bridges, missionaries were killed in Afghanistan, THERE IS NO END to the carnage.

Hell, we had an army chaplain MURDER SOLDIERS ON OUR OWN SOIL.

Yet the Dear Reader comes out and tells us not to jump to conclusions.

What happened to Ms. Logan is sickening--and it ought to make us angry. Angry at the men who attacked her and even angrier at the liberal mindset that allows us to so easily FORGET these atrocities.

I swear, what if we lived with this mindset back in 1941?

What if after Pearl Harbor we were told not to jump to conclusions, that the Japanese enemies were merely frustrated at American presence in the Far East?

What if our leaders told us not to jump to conclusions? That is just what is happening now...we had a President who took the threat seriously, and now we have one who winks at it.

Makes me sick to think our children are growing up in such a world.

We've got to change it folks: we cannot forget Daniel Pearl, just like another generation wouldn't forget Pearl Harbor.

“Sexy CBS siren Lara Logan spent her days covering the heat of the Iraq war - but that was nothing compared to the heat of her nights.”

“The “60 Minutes” reporter and former swimsuit model apparently courted two beaus while she was in Baghdad, and has been labeled a homewrecker for allegedly destroying the marriage of a civilian contractor there, sources said.”

This reminds me of the Al Wilson song “The Snake”. “Oh shut up, silly woman,” said the reptile with a grin
“You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in...”

Not blaming this reporter at all. In a sense, all apologists for the religion of peace are the woman in this song. A snake will do what is in its character.

BTW, comments from these (supposedly) male reporters are disgusting. But I am not surprised at the attitude. Jerks! Disturbing.

I wonder if Anderson Cooper is envious of her? After all, all he got was a few slaps upside the head. No one attempted to sexually assault him.

Read the Kos comments if you want to see psychopaths on the loose. For every comment expressing sympathy there are at least two out there searching for “islamophobia’ and deviance from the party line.

The Mofo Politics blog featured a post on February 3rd, saying, “OMG if I were her captors and there were no sanctions for doing so? I would totally rape her.”

OMG if I were her brother or husband and there were no sanctions for doing so? I would totally [deal with] the Egyptian rapist thugs . . . and I'd do do the same for this disgusting blogger. The kind of person who would rape without sympathy simply because he could get away with it, the type who would admit such a disgusting disrespect for another human being, is permanently outside the bounds of those who can be trusted or respected in any way.

We may disagree on this woman's politics, who she works for, etc., etc., but to trivialize what happened to her is wrong on almost every level.
This woman was in a hostile place, no argument there, but in trying to do her job she was brutally assaulted and raped, those are the facts.
This woman should be in our prayer's and have our sympathies not ridicule.
That being said when Western women put themselves into the line of fire, so to speak, in Middle East Muslim countries they run the risk of a backlash even something like this.
She was an experienced reporter in that area of the world but when covering an uprising, one that the MSM said was peaceful, events can and will spiral out of control and this is one result.
I do not see the bravado of this woman thinking she will go back into that area of the world and continue to do her job when now in the back of her mind she will be wondering if this will happen again or worse she might get killed.
