FAGETABOUT, The People's Socialist Republic of Utopian Moonbats, Vermont...

Which in 08 (after voting overwhelmingly for the Agitator in Least) was named [the] "Bluest" state in the Nation

That and the fact that according to Forbes (2009) Vermont had the HIGHEST combined (personal, property and sales) TAX burden per capita in the Country.

That and we have the ONLY avowed "Commie"--Sanders--(though there are many, many, more Demo-Rats who deny they are one) in Congress, along with one of the MEANEST, NASTIEST, PARTISAN, SOB's (and that's according to his colleagues)--"Leaky" Leahy (who should still be in Leavenworth for his Treasonous Actions)and as well as the diminutive (both in size and intellect) FAR, FAR, Left, "Petey" Welch.

Of course, VT now has a new Goobernator (Shumlin) who is a full-fledged Moonbat (who wants to close down Vermont Yankee, the state's only Nuclear Facility) as well as a Legislature which is overwhelmingly, Dhimi-Crat.

I could go on and on and on, but other than being only one of 3 States with a "Right to carry" I can't think of anything else going for the Green Mountain State....and that is coming from a 67 year old who grew up here when (like so many other places) was mod-to-Conservative.

Headed to Florida next week to start looking for a place.

Have had it with Burlington--the Headquarters for the majority of Moonbats--and this Commie Republic

PS: If you like snow, COLD and Winters that are 5 months long, then you might overlook the previous shortcomings

Just had another 8" last night, to add to the 22" we had last week, piled on to who knows how much accumulated from before!

Me? I'm looking out the window and glad I don't have anywhere to go, otherwise I'd have to shovel my sidewalk and driveway again.

SUCKS, BIG TIME!!!

"Several of us believe a solution to our partisan problems (before it descends into civil war) might just be to part ways with the American Left and set up traditional American government in the already conservative states. "

Already thought of and attempted in NH. It's called the "Free State Project". Don't know how much success it's had.

How in the hell can Vermont not make the worst list? A Republican has not won in presidential voting since Reagan. Our Senate delegation is Leahy and Sanders. Really, that doesn’t get us in the top 5?

There are still some places...much of east TN and the Cumberland plateau if you stay away from college concentrations.

Williamson county here where I live south of Nashville is very righty but it does have art pockets and the libs are more active in local crap like schools which takes time to combat. Nashville is GenY hipster land...completely lost...typical urban with by and large the least conservative white demographic....some really seriously screwed up kids where all the men look gay. And in working class Nashville all the white boys are now black just with smaller pingas.

Dallas TX used to be conservative but that's gone...it is much more ethnic than it was 25 years ago..

Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay is bucolic and conservative.

The white populations of all the Deep South are 80-90% conservative and traditionalist..it's deeply embedded in the culture...I am one...but the racial thing with large black populations with huge crime problems, mass illegitimacy and political corruption in areas they control (all urban areas) gives it a Rhodesian feeling...it will always be home for my in any event and when I am there amongst keen I know that pretty much everyone shares my core values...even the under 35 crowd which is the complete opposite of Nashville. The older decent blacks even if liberals just don't offset the crime issues for me but I could get used to it again if I wanted to. It was not an issue when I was young.
Out west...the mountain areas were once conservative but I fear freaks have moved in and ruined it.

By the way, I hate these “10 best” articles that make you change pages TEN TIMES to read the whole thing. And I am on Superfast FIOS. It’s just lame.

Alaska is a union state with the majority of its employed citizens working for the government at the federal or state level. Plus a % of its residents have factored in government assistance into their annual pay, in the winter months they have no work so they collect unemployment. Also the Native Alaskans get automatic preference, even if they are not qualified nor have the necessary expertise.

Not very conservative practices.

I’d take Wyoming over Alaska if one likes the outdoors. Although Wyoming like Utah is always battling DC over property/land rights, minerals etc...

I always differentiate it by area, not state. In the midwest, there are some very conservative and very lefty areas in all of the states, and sometimes even in the same county.

Wayne County. Blue zone central. It has Detroit. It also has Livonia which is center-right. Washtenaw County has Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti which is blue zone central. Manchester is relatively conservative. Northfield Township where I live is relatively centrist, despite my mailing address. I have the most conservative congressman in the state representing me, and a moderate republican state rep. We're making progress even behind enemy county lines, firing our incumbent.

Considering Relocating? Think about Colorado Springs…

If you or a CONSERVATIVE person is considering relocating, I’d invite you to tell them about this family values oasis. I’d personally suggest Northern Colorado Springs as being the best and the most conservative.

And just to lay my cards on the table, I am not in the Real Estate business and make nothing off anyone moving here. I just know that Soros and others have dumped millions into Colorado and have succeeding in taking over the state government for the first time in decades recently.
The Springs loses out to Denver and Boulder in the state elections but it is still close enough to make a difference.
Pass this along.

18. El Paso County, Colo.

Largest city: Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs is the right-wing stronghold of Colorado. The Air Force Academy and NORAD are based in the county. About 19 percent of the population are civilian veterans, one of the highest rates in the nation. The other conservative influences are social: Focus on the Family is located in Colorado Springs, as are many other parachurch organizations. Colorado Springs was named by Money Magazine as the best big city to live in 2006.

http://dailycaller.com/2010/03/19/americas-top-20-conservative-friendly-counties/

Outside Magazine just ranking Colorado Springs as the best place to live.

http://outside.away.com/outside/destinations/200908/best-towns-america-colorado-springs.html

Outside Magazine lists as a drawback that it might be get this TOO CONSERVATIVE for some people.

As you know, Money Magazine consistently usually ranks it number 1 as well.

The Worst – #5. Washington

Washington state is dripping with Emo hippie-wannabes hawking coffee and reminiscing about grunge music. Seattle is a breeding ground for anti-military activity and leftist activism. If you don’t mind running into an anti-war protest on your way to the grocery store, then this is the place for you. Or, if you don’t mind boarding a bus with a sign emblazoned on it that says “Israeli war crimes-your tax dollars at work” then pack up your stuff in your hemp bags and head Northwest. ...

Wahington State the 5th worst state for conservatives? I dunno, I grew up here. I love it here. Of course I stay the hell out of the Seattle-Tacoma area if at all possible. Stick tto the rural areas, don’t get too hung up on how long it’s been since we had a GOP (nevermind conservative) governor and you should be just fine. If you simply cannot live in a state with people that have views opposite of yours on a few major issues.....I hear Texas is real nice.
