The Huckster (being a JUANnabie) is not to the right of Mitt.

The graph is stupid nonsense.

Backstabber Romney is to the LEFT of Sen. Kennedy.

Mitt Romney: "I'm not running as the Republican view or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.

(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldn’t make any sense at all.""

--  President Ronald Reagan

Uh, the chart shows Newty as more conservative than Palin. I don't agree with it, though. He's lost a lot of conservative street cred, starting January 1995.

I also wouldn’t call “Huck Off” an outsider either. He’s as outside as Newt or Giuliani.

I think the positioning in fact reflects that, but it has Newt as more of an insider.

That's pretty vitriolic stuff there. Traitors? Battle? Didn't he realize some schizo could take that as encouragement to shoot a Congressman??

That’ll do it to you sometimes. Somehow, I suspected there was a “not” missing...

I’ll vote for anyone in the lower right quadrant except Huckabee. I will not vote for libs (anyone left of the centerline) or insiders (any one above the center line.) Demint has only a tiny portion of his circle that is barely above the center line but even then he’s still way right of the line, so I’d have no problem voting for him.

Forget those other three quadrants. They are RINOs and elitists. I will not vote for any of them.

The Huckster's big red balloon doesn't describe him correctly.

It should on the left, as an insider and deflated.

That’s my analysis, too. It’s interesting that all three of my favorites are in that box. :)

Seems like a pretty accurate chart, except that Huckabee and Gingrich are way too far right.

What do the colors mean?
My best guess is blue = Easterner, red = Southerner,
green = midwesterner, yellow = westerner.

Which Johnson is that moderate outsider? The newly elected Senator from Wisconsin? Thune should get yellow before he does.

Oh no, the figure has blue balls and uncivil crosshairs. Hide the children.

I won’t vote for Huckabee or Mitt. But mitt is a socialist. He is DADT abolishing, mandate, gay marriage and ENDA loving; gun grabbing; pro-abortion; father of Obamacare. He’s one of the biggest socialist RINOs in the republican party.

Like Mitt, Huckabee may be a soft on crime, big govt. loving, statist but unlike Mitt, he is not social lib.

RE: What do the colors mean?

You guess it right.

According to the original article linked above, the color of each circle reflects the region the candidate is from:

blue for the Northeast,

red for the South,

green for the Midwest,

and yellow for the West.

Right.

Which Johnson is that moderate outsider

Gary Johnson, former governor of New Mexico.
