Jones is just another angry, America-hating liberal ***hole.
Jones needs to be in prison with the rest of his goat-humping buddies, including Obama.
Ed Koch?
I agree.
Folks like him don’t have any idea what the true costs of evolution are... He’s no Bolshevik. Ask the people of Russia how their Revolution turned out.
He and his ilk are a small group of hateful inciters, vile bile spewers, so many thugs in 3 piece suits, they need to go to camp for while.. Oh say, maybe one in Cuba..
I shudder when I remember that people of this man's ilk are running this country.
By now we all should accept the fact that Obama and his racist buds run the plantation, not the Koch brothers.
“You guys know Van Jones? . . . Oooh. Van Jones, alright! So, Van Jones. We were so delighted to be able to recruit him into the White House. We were watching him, uh, really, hes not that old, for as long as hes been active out in Oakland. And all the creative ideas he has. And so now, we have captured that. And we have all that energy in the White House.”What Jarrett had to say about her favorite little commie..
Van Jones, and people who believe like him, doesn’t seem to understand that they already live on a plantation. Socialism IS SLAVERY.
And then again, maybe he does understand, and he simply wants some Americans to be tax slaves for others.
Either way, there’s no question that BHO, ironically the first black president, does in fact want to make Americans slaves to the government.
Actually the "Founding Fathers" wanted no truck whatsoever with "democaracy" and wrote our Constitution with that very idea in mind.
Very good article. Good job John Sexton. Couple of thoughts...
Democracy is becoming the new favorite word of the Socialist, Totalitarian, and Tyrant. Democracy is, in itself, useless. (thought this was good http://bit.ly/hEvPIS)
Also, from the article:
“if you assume Exxon could maintain that level of profit in perpetuity and you devoted all of it to paying down the US debt, it would take more than 300 years to pay off what we owe today.”
Not likely. Remember, with our current tax policy Exxon is already paying an amount in taxes very close to the amount of their declared “profit.” Even with that 40+B a year, the Govmnt is still 1.5T in the red. If we upped Exxon’s contribution by another 45B they’d probably find a reason to spend another 60B.
Jones says it’s time we talk about employment. Sorry. It’s time you stopped. Government was empowered to protect the life, liberty, and property of the individual - not to confiscate it. If you’d worry more about making sure productive people like the Koch’s didn’t have their earnings and property constantly under assault by populist demagogues and a rogue Government - we’d have more jobs than we could do.
Just like we did, ummm.... let me see.... 3 years ago.
Actually the "Founding Fathers" wanted no truck whatsoever with "democracy" and wrote our Constitution with that very idea in mind.
Van Jones is just another lunatic Ivy League con artist.
Washington D.C. is infested with these people.
Van Jones (translated): “Slavery is freedom...”
Bingo. What an ignoramus hypocrite.
Then he better start eliminating many of the things he uses in his life...

LOL. He’s already living on the Democrat plantation. No need to move to another one.
