I finally “joined” after lurking...when I bacame a part of “The Long War” thread......Sofaman greeted me very warmly.....and the rest......is history ;-) I tend to gravitate to the Levin thread and yes..........I do partake in the irreverant byt hysterically funny American Idol thread...it is a HOOT and a much needed respite so I do not become adrift in the doldrums of the idiocy that is known as Washington DC

OMG, the Video. A great one. Tears. . I still remember when I literally almost dropped my coffee cup when she gave her Vice-Presidential acceptance speech. I couldn't believe the Words she was saying, . . and so real and genuine. . I've seen a lot of people in my lifetime. Sarah is the Real Deal. . Can't wait. .

Hey hey hey Rus! I miss you. Seems I don’t have enough time to do all the things I want to do these days. I think it may be that I’m a lot slower getting them done. Try to keep up with the news, but it goes so fast I find I spend all my time reading instead of commenting. Pretty much confine my comments to Sarah threads, thanks to onyx who pings me.
