“The overwhelming weight of the independent research on the impact of Wal-Mart stores ... shows that Wal-Mart depresses area wages and labor benefits ... pushes out more retail jobs than it creates, and results in more retail vacancies,” the report concluded.
And obesity, hair loss, peeling paint, ring around the collar, engine knock, etc.
What utter nonsense! But given that it is New York, a state that elected a Democrat for governor, to what? ...get them out of debt? Ha ha ha!
Union thugs do not like Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has a great store, a superior organization, great products, low prices, and many happy employees.
What twisted and warped logic came up with those highly questionable conclusions? Soros? Obama? Bush?
Out of curiosity, why is it of even the slightest importance that you get your beans and bullets from the same store?
I don't enjoy shopping, its a chore. At Walmart, its one stop,, I get everything I need for my vehicles, weapons, closet, and pantry.
Every second I spend out of traffic is one second more I am enjoying life.
Unions hate poor people more than anything.
I love that I can get my ammunition where I get my apples. It’s a sign of civilization. America is awesome.
I used to work for a high end retailer.
Folks like you paid me so that I could buy from walmart.
Thanks!
To each his own. To me buying bullets in Wal-Mart would just be extending my stay in Hell, and that’s provided that I was buying beans there in the first place.
Certain stores are not counted as shopping. They’re little fantasy lands that enthusiasts never tire of visiting. In my life, I count them as bicycle shops, electronic stores and gun shops. A visit to a gun shop can never count as shopping.
I used to keep a list of all the “acceptable” places to shop based on FR comments.
Eventually we got down the the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store as the only OK option.
Then somebody posted an anti-Catholic screed and we were down to zero, LOL.
WM has some outstanding logistics people. We’ve had a full bore shopping assault here due to the vicious ice storm, and two days later the place is fully stocked again.
Neo Commie propaganda!
Theres a difference between a high end retailer and walmart.
Go ahead and buy your stuff there, you’ll pay more and buy it again when it breaks.
Price Chopper’s garlic is “product of China” too. I just grow my own.
It is if you already have a gun safe full as I do. All purchased from newspapers, No background check, no taxes. Yes, I could pass a background check, but I prefer to keep the government out of my life as much as possible.
People never take a real look at what they’re buying. From a manufacturing standpoint, I look at all cheap chinese junk and I know I’m getting ripped. I buy very little of anything any more and I avoid China like the plague. I only buy 5qt motor oil at wm just to use them because my car takes 7.5 qts and I can’t find 5qts at local guys, but I’m starting to see them now. Once I can reliably get them, I’m done with wm. Have to walk 1/4 mile to the back of the stinkin store to get motor oil, valvoline conventional is always out of stock, you have to get there early. wm has $1 clothing for $9.98, complete ripoff, made by the chinese army.
