Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on Monday warned Mexico's drug cartels that any attempt to bring their violent tactics across the border would produce a powerful reaction.

A powerful reaction would be a strongly worded protest on formal stationary in all caps.

The ultimate action would be imposing an embargo against their goods from being used in the White House.

“any attempt to bring their violent tactics across the border would produce a powerful reaction.”

Implying that it hasn’t already. This woman is certifiable.

Pinal Sheriff - armed conflict with drug cartels coming soon

Armed conflict in Arizona between sheriff's deputies and heavily equipped drug cartel squads is inevitable, Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said Tuesday during a speech in Ahwatukee Foothills.

The US government has literally become the enemy

The drug cartels are dancing with danger as armed conflict is inevitable as far as the sheriff is concerned complaining, “The federal government has literally become an enemy who is fighting us, and I have not been afraid to fight them,” he said. Sheriff Babeu is no friend of Janet Napolitano and took her to task as she tried to contend that the Arizona border is as safe as ever. A response that boggles the mind!

This is the garbage this sheriff has to put up from a woman who seems unresponsive to the dangers of the southern border sectors. Evidently, last year in the eastern portion of Arizona’s two sectors, which includes Phoenix and Tucson, the US Border Patrol caught 241,000 illegals coming across. However, it is also estimated that an additional 400,000 illegals crossed undetected.

“Close to 20 percent of which already have criminal records in America”.

More importantly, a percentage of which are caught in Pinal county, are from countries other than Mexico, including “countries of interest” such as Yemen, Somalia, and Syria.

State Officials warn against travel to Mexico

(Austin, TX) -- Texas DPS is once again putting out a warning for travelers to avoid Mexico because of recent violent events. And DPS officials singled out Winter Texans, who travel from across the country each year to live in Texas during the winter, who also like to take side-trips to Mexico. They caution those travelers and any other Texan, saying that they cannot guarantee their safety after they cross the border…..

Death revisits Mexico area hit by 2010 massacre

A girl died after being shot by federal police in the same Mexican border city neighborhood where 15 youths were massacred by gunmen on January 30 2010.

Mexican cartels buy Afghan heroin - drug wars claim 507 in 14 days

According to Borderland Beat (BB) Jan. 5, Mexican drug cartels have formed elaborate and strategic alliances with Middle Eastern drug traffickers, and those supply chains are also being used for arms trade and money laundering. BB obtained the report from El Universal, a major Mexican newspaper, and added that Mexican groups are also making inroads into European Union markets.

Ninety percent of the world's heroin supply comes from Afghanistan, and the shipments destined for Canada and the U.S. are very profitable to criminal groups in Mexico.

Had she been W or anyone in a Republican administration, all media would be wringing their hands over her daring the cartels to test her. Anyone remember the uproar over “bring it on”?
