The reality behind the election of all three arose from different circumstances and happened during different periods of time arising from specific sets of dynamics that do not fit neatly into your nonsensical “theory”.

Voting for a RINO is a vote for your own descent into poverty via the current political establishment, IMO.

I prefer to fight the good fight, and I have nothing but contempt for those who follow the beliefs you espouse.

LOL, you're displaying a lefty trait, “projection”, and it would not surprise me at all if you frequently practice that scenario on a regular basis.

Putting Obama in for a second term is desirable

Do you remember who wrote that comment? That would be you. I can't imagine any Freeper ever saying such a thing, but you did and now you accuse me of displaying leftist traits? Are you out of your cotton picking mind? I would NEVER, NEVER, EVER support Obama and anyone who does is no conservative and is no Freeper. You and all of your Obama supporting buddies can expect to receive to a continuing ration of grief for your irrational views.

There is no tea party . You democrats and the liberal mainstream media want to manufacture a 3rd party , the tea party, so that the conservative vote is split and then Democrats/socialism have absolute power. It must hurt all you GOP haters that Republican gained what over 700 seats in state Legislatures.

Putting Obama in for a second term is desirable if the candidate fielded for the GOP is another RINO.

Leave my statement in it's proper context. I gave the reason behind that statement and have done so several times prior to your temper tantrum and I stand behind my reasoning. It doesn't matter what I think, if another RINO is nominated, Obama will win the election handily and the apathy generated by McCain should serve as a warning to those who believe anyone, even a RINO, can beat Obama.

If by some chance Romney does get the Republican nomination, I will take great satisfaction in seeing your account banned here at FR the first time you post your eager and avid support of that POS. In case you missed the message in orientation, this is a Conservative site, not a Republican site. Primary season should be very interesting around here!

There is no tea party, 3rd party as you and the media wish it to be. The “tea party” activists worked to elect Republicans as is evident in Republicans gaining 63 seats in the House and over 800 seats in State Legislatures. The only candidates that ran under a tea party party label were fake plants put there by democrat/marxists to siphon off votes from Republicans as democrat Harry Reid had his own tea party candidate to siphon off votes away from Republican Sharon Angle. See how the 3rd party worked so well in Nevada. What Reid did in Nevada is what you all and the media are advocating for all of the U.S.A. Reid
s fake tea party candidate was no conservative but a plant put there by democrats. Google it.

So demint wins IA and SC where does he go then? Mi? NV? FL? he might be able to pull off FL. but then its super Tuesday and what? how does he play that field? Last I saw his warchest was pretty light. he doesn't command large crowds and while he could probably do some nice fund raising numbers would it be enough to compete with the well funded/self funded Mitt? doubtful. He fizzles after SC would be my guess. As far as how Palin’s supporters would react to a DEmint win of the nomination? he would be better than Mitt or thune or chrisite so I would imagine most would support him in the general. Unlike the Anybody but Palin people Palin's supporters are not blinded by hate for other candidates they simply expect a Reagan conservative this time around.

I don't know. History is littered with short sharp breaks in political winds. Look at Egypt today. Who would have thought 2 weeks ago it would be in flames. but changes in political parties are not always about destruction. Form the cedar revolution to the peaceful transfer of power in the Philippines power can change hands in peaceful revolts.

Okay, let me break the news to you. The TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party is a grass roots movement, not a political party. While TEA party groups have been a significant factor in politics of late, there is no intention to make it a unified, monolithic, top down organization, simply because that would defeat the purpose of grass-roots activism in the first place.

People from all over have common sense ideas about how government should be run, and they embrace a return to the Constitutional constraints the Founders placed on Government, especially at the Federal Level. That requires the involvement of ordinary people in pushing for reform, such ideas promoted or not by the individuals involved, and the TEA party movement provides an opportunity to exchange ideas, and even support those ideas, as members see fit.

But a political capital 'P' Party? NO.

yeap your right. before Palin the gop leadership was talkign about moving beyond reagan and working with Obama at pizza parlors. After Palin the gop theme of the 2010 elections was small limited common sense conservatism. (i.e reaganism) but she had nothing to do with that change. What a blinded fool.

Might as well concede the 2012 election right now.

“In other words

46% of GOP Primary Voters Responsible for Zero Second Term.”

Pretty much accurately sums it up.

“This is why I think the “Palin or nobody” people are just as bad as the Rudy McRomneys.

A pox on both camps.

As if the only choices are between two different competing groups of amnesty queens.”

They would rather see someone who shares NONE of their beliefs/values (obama) re-elected rather than see someone who shares 75% of their beliefs/values elected. Thats reasoning for ya.

Try not to get so defensive when pressured to be honest.

Anyone “neutral” about Palin would very likely not post anything about her.

As a matter of fact, I have not expressed a preference for any Republican candidate except to say that I have no use for Romney, but I guess that since that doesn’t fit your preconceived delusions, you ignore it.

What I am doing is to ridicule and excoriate all of those who make ludicrous and beyond stupid statements that include support for Obama under any circumstances. That would include you, and since you have not retracted your remark, but repeated it, I have to assume that you stand by it. You are prepared to support Obama under certain conditions and I am not. I think that my account is quite secure.

If Obama wins reelection, folks like you will deserve some of the credit, and it sounds like you will be quite proud of yourself. A Freeper for Obama, unbelievable!

Why make that assumption? Maybe I comment on her because I jolly well feel like commenting on this thread, regardless of whether someone like you likes what I'm saying?

Hate to break it to you, but Palin is NOT our political messiah. She has flaws, as well as having good points - and it is not "dishonest" to point this out. Why is it that you are so scared of open and honest discussion about Sarah Palin that you can't even deal rationally with someone who isn't 100% on board with her being our nominee?

You may continue to be obtuse and disingenuous at your own discretion. If you do not already work for the MSM, you're missing your true calling!

I’ll be on the lookout for your neutral comments.

Here's one: Sarah Palin is neither good nor bad. She is simply a shade of gray, exactly between black and white.

That’s not bad. I think I’m getting it now.

Here, let me help you. I’ll think of another neutral statement for you to use, then I’ll answer it with my statement.

You: “If Sarah Palin was an atomic particle, she would have a rest mass of 1.6749286 x 10-27 kg.”

Me: “If Sarah Palin was a set of jumper cables, she could start your car just by lookin at it.”
