Synthesizing Karl Marx and Ronald Reagan, Obama said the government will soon be taking over every aspect of our lives, and Republicans can't stop him -- but gosh, isn't America a great country!

Teachers are great, we need to innovate, children are our future, we need paved roads, kids should do their homework, Labrador puppies are cute, I like apple pie, I (heart) Justin Bieber, and how about them Yankees! Now, here's your 2011 tax bill -- how would you like to pay for that?
Paper or plastic?

Annie is SO funny, what a wit she has, LOL

Me too, she really nailed it.
This is classic:
Obama said, "We are the nation that put cars in driveways and computers in offices; the nation of Edison and the Wright brothers; of Google and Facebook."
And then the government outlawed Edison's great invention, made the Wright brothers' air travel insufferable, filed anti-trust charges against Microsoft and made cars too expensive to drive by prohibiting oil exploration, and right now -- at this very minute -- is desperately trying to regulate the Internet.

The last time I saw McCain applaud Obama like that was when he debated him. That will leave a mark.

From the article:
"Apparently the government will be "investing" in education, "investing" in technology, "investing" in roads and "investing" in lots and lots of government workers. Ann pays more, Ann pays more, Ann pays more.
Obama compared "investing" in education to our sending a man to the moon after the Russians launched Sputnik. Say, who was the president who recently gutted spending on NASA? Oh yes, that was Obama.
So he reminded us of the glory days of the space program, but now he's taking that money and funneling it to public school teachers. As the Democrats say: 'If we can put a man on the moon, why can't we hire another 10,000 public school teachers?' "
Ann Coulter has hit the nail squarely on the head once again.
In my opinion, the SOTU speech was more than a lot of BHO's typical fluff, it's a huge red warning sign of what's on the horizon.
The libs created the huge problem and have done a terrible disservice to America in Education. Once again, they believe that throwing more money at the problem will fix it.

The audacity of arrogance.
Yes, this column ranks among the best.
It was Obama spelling out his agenda, he's always campaigning.
He started his campaign recently in Chicago, and is expecting to raise 1 billion bucks to buy/cheat/lie his way in office again.

Perfect Syncro! Also it would make a fine title for a new book from Ann Coulter. :-)

Agree.

Agree again, Syncro. Anyone who doesn't realize that apparently weren't listening very carefully.

Another great one from Ann, but really, O-Blunder just provides so much low hanging fruit for ammo.

Particularly despicable was Obama using the deaths and injuries of the shooting in Tucson, AZ to have a campaign rally and call it a memorial service the Wednesday after the carnage.
And in his SOTU he didn't take any time at all to use the same situation to further his agenda.
He has no soul.

Once again, they believe that throwing more money at the problem will fix it. They don't really believe that at all. It's just an excuse to spend us into the poor house while funneling funds to his liberal cronies.
