Jaw-on-Floor Cool. I used to live in VA. I’m in IL now. Needless to say, what a contrast!

Awesome The Commerce Clause was NEVER intended to affect everything. Just the fiction of that “living, breathing Constitution” (i.e. what liberals want it to mean)

Since insurance cannot be sold, except for intra-state, this will have an amusing effect.

Let me first say that I support the intended purpose of this bill.
But, if tested, the SCOTUS will shoot this one down. They’ll claim that the state does not have the ability the keep such things physically within its borders and that the federal government must therefore have the authority.

If this bill is enacted, wouldn't that de-claw the US Supreme Court since they, being the federal government, would no longer have jurisdiction?

It is about time! The commerce clause was NEVER intended to give congress the power to regulate any trade between the People, just the several States. The reason the word states is capitalized is significant and cannot be overlooked as the supreme court black robed terrorists have seen fit to do. If it meant how they interpret it, how come the words the People are not found anywhere in the commerce clause? It means if one state imposed trade barriers on another state, the feds could step in and be the trade ref, period!
