My vote is that someone or multiple people and maybe even nations have copies of the real one and Barry knows it. If he fakes one, he will be in more trouble than he is by not releasing one.

The other possibility is that no one in the Hawaii government would risk doing what it would take. The originals were scanned years ago. There have been countless backup tapes of those records. Reasonable forgers and liars would be scared to put their name down on something so important, if there is indisputable evidence that would refute it.

His place of birth is actually not the point. His father was a British subject. To be a natural born citizen, one MUST be born of two US citizens. Obama does not meet the "natural born" requirement to be President.

Besides, location of his birth isn't as much an issue as the nationality of his parents. Barry's dad was a British subject. Obama is not a natural born citizen. Hawaii or Kenya, the affect of his father's nationality is just the same.
