Senator Boxer shows her fascist roots. As I read the proposal, it would even require states that now have Constitutional Carry to establish a "may issue" permitting process that gives police the power to grant or deny permits based on personal whim.

“common sense”! That ought to mean the elimination of all restrictive and anti firearm laws and let every legal US citizen carry. If that were to ever happen we wouldn’t need as many federal thugs.

WTH? Every state I’ve had a CCW in (4) required fingerprints and a background investigation. Even Montana, which has open carry.

Reasonable? It’s pretty unreasonable in Nebraska already if you ask me. $175.00 for the mandated class to teach what any idiot should know about guns, plus another $100.00 to apply for permit.

Common sense is that when a gunman WITHOUT a concealed carry permit guns down people and was stopped by a citizen WITH a concealed carry permit - we restrict concealed carry permits?
