The same is true with Palin.
The money factor is huge.
"blew up on her?" Clever writing!
Barf.
Palin is the only one as of today that can match or do better than anyone -money wise- in considering a run for the highest office for the GOP
To have a successful run for 2012 election one need three basic things:
Name recognition and/or Star power
Money and/or the ability to raise a lot of money really quickly
A strong Base that will crawl hands over knees for that candidate
Ah, the Nation.
The bastion of liberal “intellect”.
And “liberal intellect” is an Oxymoron if there ever was one.
If we got Herman Cain into the mix, the lefties would go nuts. They win nothing if even 255 of blacks vote Repub.
Actually, Bachmann is a much more appealing CANDIDATE than SP. SP helps the cause considerably but has too much antipathy to overcome to WIN.
Given a choice between Palin and Bachmann I’d take Michelle in a heartbeat and twice on Sunday. However I believe Ms Bachmann needs a bit more seasoning and national exposure and to expand her national base. Until that time I’d have to cautiously and with a bit of trepidation support Sarah Palin.
I'll keep my support for Gov. Palin. I will hope she decides to run. She can't lose with all the press she gets. Everybody knows she's the RIGHT choice. Real people, real patriots, real good.
... You know, when I hear people say, or had said, during the campaign that theyve never been proud of America, havent they met anybody in uniform yet? Palin said, referencing the then-hopeful first ladys remarks from 2008: For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country, because it feels like hope is making a comeback not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.
Palin continued: I get tears in my eyes when I see that young man, that young woman, walking through the airport in uniform you too so proud to be American. ...

For Bachmann to have a chance shes going to have to have money and organizationAnd charisma...which she doesn't have.
In fact he's a little ditsy. Sorry, I like her but it's all true. No charisma and ditsy aren't exactly presidential qualities.
Yes, journalists deserve subsidies too

Michelle Bachmann has more class than Sarah Palin, IMHO. She seems to be the more serious candidate - but for vice president, not president. At least not yet.
I was around for Reagan and Palin is Reagan in High Heels! She is better looking, but Reagan was not in his prime.
Palin is quicker in getting her words out than any politician in the last 50 years, this is a sign she says what she believes! Finally, someone who tells the Truth!
Some people seems to think a woman cant run this country, thats another reason why she needs to be the first woman President!
She would do a lot to hurt the men having sex with men lifestyle, Normal would be back in again! Thats probably the biggest reason that the anti Palin freepers keeping spurring out all the same negatives Reagan lived with, yes, our token liberal democrat Trolls and with their sick lifestyle!
The three people I’ve got my eye on are Bachmann, Palin, and DeMint.
If this magazine is promoting one of them, its as an alternative to Palin. If they succeed in knocking her out of the game, they’ll move on to the next one. So any tip of the hat to any conservative is tactical and temporary.
Still, Bachmann is on my short list. I’m looking for a constitutionalist who fights, and thats her. Nation may regret promoting her before its done.
Although Sarah Palin is nowhere near the Conservative that Michelle Bachmann is....I would never rule out Palin making a strong run
Only Liberals and Liberal RINOs are making an issue of trying to link Palin with Jared Loughner...and even real conservatives who have questions about Palin are tired of seeing Palin blamed and framed for Arizona.
If Palin has an Arizona problem...its supporting John McCain over JD Hayworth in the Senate race. You know McCain is not going to support Palin if she runs for President
Probably the best thing for the GOP would be a strong race between Bachmann and Palin....and eliminating Romney, Rudy, Chris Matthews...er Newt Gingrich, Pawlenty...and all the other Liberal RINOs
Bachmann kind of got pwned by Weiner on the healthcare repeal episode. Weiner walked away from the exchange victorious-wrong as hell but victorious none-the-less. Bachmann missed a couple of key points. She needs to sharpen her talons for future fights IMHO. I love her though and everything she stands for of course but a Jedi yet she is not.
Bachmann has been as savaged by the press as Palin has, but since 2005. And the last two election cycles have seen herculean efforts on the part of Dems to unseat her. The Nation is just basically saying, “One down. Who’s up next”. Neither woman will be impacted by anything the Nation thinks or says.
Please, no. I hope Bachmann doesn’t take Palin’s place. Bachmann shouldn’t lower herself. ;)
