“The media is calling us a “black Tea Party” but we are simply a Tea Party set up in a urban minority area. All are welcome. We are also a party of the Texas Tea Party Federation.”

I agree, it is nice for people to hear. But I can see the other side too. :)

Their mission statement reads in part:

“To build a strong base of conservative Black entrepreneurs, elected officials and constituents that provide Black conservatives a viable way to express and implement their conservative values politically.”

Well, is there not tons of criticism of black overwhelming adherence to the Democratic Party? Why then are conservative blacks castigated when they try to actively pull blacks away from the Democratic Party?

If we are to be truly colorblind, then we must cease to notice that 90% of blacks vote Democrat and stop repeatedly talking about it. If we are to be truly colorblind, we must stop repeatedly relating the wrongdoings of individual blacks to the entire group. It is not right to see color when blacks do something negative, yet declare colorblindness when blacks do something positive.

This particular Tea Party movement includes blacks, whites, etc. trying, among other things, to counter the overwhelming trend of black adherence to the Democratic Party. I have no complaint and I sense that many of the complainers are actually comfortable with the current status quo.

This is excellent.

Hopefully this group will bring forth a good candidate against Queen Sheila.

Sheila is such a disgusting career communist racist. Not only is she extremely bigoted, her vanity knows no bounds.

She was a jerk on City Council. She’s been a jerk ever since. She’s an embarassment to all of us who live in her district.

And she’s a transplant from New York ! But then, as someone “brought here in shackles” (according to her) she feels she deserves her position.

Thanks for that clarification. Once again, the MSM seeks to divide.

Lets pray for their success...and kick some a** between prayers...:)
