True. True.
Thx.
I hope some of our good talkers will call a talk show to help get this out, and ask the country for prayers.
:) Oh my, if we could only see how the Lord sees us. Oh My!
That would be great.
Not something I can manage well at this time.
Sorry.
True.
>>Prayers could change things. Im a bit skeptical that there will be sufficient prayer to change things that much.<<
Ive been thinking about the same thing. The more I listen to people the more I wonder who they are praying to. The focus on a personal relationship to Jesus and believing that He is our only advocate isnt what I hear. There is too much humanism from what I can tell. From the belief that we as humans are to conquer the world to praying to everyone but Jesus tells me that Jesus isnt the one most looked to as our only hope. If that is part of the falling away it may be out of our hands as God begins to put in place the events prophesied.
>>Even so, this coming Sunday, January 23,<<
Why this sunday?
According to the article, which I actually read, January 23 is the anniversary of when the people of Venezuela last threw out a dictator. I believe that would be the military dictator Marcos Pérez Jiménez who was overthrown in 1958.
I thought I had read it too. Then, after I posted, I noticed that although it did not say it was an excerpt, the OP looked like it was.
I thought I WAS reading the entire article in the OP.
It will be interesting to see if anniversaries have any significance to the people of this country.
Where is the CIA when we need it. Lately I have been reading about Allende in Chile. There are ways of dealing with people like Chavez if you are as pragmatic as someone like Kissinger. It just depends on whether you have the spinal fortitude to use them.
