Yep. He came out, brought the whole issue up again saying {expletive} like "I"m sure obama is eligible...we know there is a HI BC...etc. etc." Then I think a couple of things happened. First, I think he found out there really isn't one on file anywhere. Second, I think someone on his legal team explained "accessory after the fact" to him as well as his potential criminal liability. So, not wanting to be taken down with obama in part of the biggest fraud in history... He changed his tone from very positive and assuring that obama is eligible, to something a little more circumspect so as to avoid legal troubles when the obama house comes crashing down.
Anyone else notice the brief silent period from Acbercrombie on this issue, followed by a distinctive change in his tone? That really, really makes me suspicious of what he found out...
This is for you attorneys out there. Years ago, I was invovled in a federal lawsuit. I spent hours at the local law library and found an old (probably 1920ish)railroad case where the SC ruled that if the railroad couldn’t provide the records that the railroad was supposed to keep, then whatever the opposing side was saying re those records would be accepted as true. I’ll be darned if I can remember the title of that case...it may be categorized under “evidence”. As I recall, the case was still being cited in the 70s & possible the 80s.

I've heard this theory bandied about and, for the life of me, other than some mild chuckles, I can't figure out how it could hurt our Dear Leader. He IS half white, so why hide the BC?
It doesn't matter what it says on his BC, liberals (particularly black liberals) will vote overwhelmingly for him in 2012 (if he can run).
My wife’s whole thery is because of the deal he has made of being “Black”.
Goes all the way back to school aid. If you count the white and arab there is very little black to begin with in him.
He lived the youth of his life as white - only when he went to college did his black come out.
My wife says its because the word MUSLIM is on his BC....She,too, is right on occasion.
That could well be that he has an American birth certificate and that it lists him as white and that this is the reason he has spent millions of dollars hiding it from the pulbic. However, I doubt it, because this would be easy to explain to the public.
Here’s another theory. Say he has a birth certificate that is embarassing like you said plus he does not want the issue examined in Congress or court because then he faces the question of whether or not he is qualified given his dad is not an American. Best to just keep people chasing the birth certificate so the meat of the issue is not legally examined by anyone with “standing.”
The truth is, he’s not going to get by without scrutiny again. The Rinos don’t have the same grip on the GOP and the States they had prior to the Tea Party. Some States have changed qualification requirements.
It is my guess that Mr. Obama will pull out of seeking a second term due to “health reasons” - AFTER he rakes in his goal of a billion dollars for the race from donars.

During the 1960’s I personally witnessed several new Mommies coming in to ship their cars back to Hawaii (via Matson Lines http://www.Matson.com ) shortly after their giving birth elsewhere, inside or outside the Mainland United States.
These new Mommies were told by other Mommies present to just go to the Honolulu Officals and proclaim that thier newborns were born in Hawaii and a Birth Certificate showing so would be automatically produced.
It was THAT commonplace ..and well known about by many.. back then..!!!
This was during a 9-10 year window after Hawaiian Statehood when they could get away with it.

Please excuse my ignorance on this subject....but if there was no long form, then how did Obama get a short form, passport, etc.
And when did all this happen? Did he or his mother do this paperwork?
