Attending a gun show and exercising a 2nd Amendment right is now considered "showing off?"

Gun buyers= “gun nuts”
Shopping for guns= “showing off”

You’re right - owning a gun is different than being a liberal who goes in to a political meeting to kill citizens ... I guess that’s a hard one for liberals to understand.

a mere 13 miles away from last weekend's rampage. What is the magic number that would be an acceptable distance from the rampage? Apparently there was no "rampage" at the gun show "chock full of high-powered rifles and semiautomatic pistols" with "many openly packing heat".
To: BuckeyeTexan
What a load! (oops, is that violent?) I bet this idiot could write the headline, “Nuts dance around a fire near site of arson fire that killed many” when writing about a Boy Scout Jamboree.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Thousands of weapons enthusiasts, many openly packing heat, crammed into an Arizona gun show... a mere 13 miles away from last weekend's rampage. Are these idiots serious?
The silver lining from this tragedy is that more and more normal, decent people are seeing Leftists for the utter hysterical morons which they are...

I really, really think it's Union Rule. All firearm articles shall be written by an ignoramus female.

Liberals don’t like people exercising their constitutional rights? F*uck them! I think a censored profanity is quite appropriate.
For the life of me, I can’t see what they’re doing wrong at the gun show. Can you?

many openly packing heat
packing heat ?!?
This is some sort of euphemism that people in cities like New York conjured up from their fantasies.
Carrying a firearm in a holster is commonplace for almost all LEOs and is commonplace in states that have "Open Carry" laws.
Media fantasies do not refer to LEOs as "packing heat". Rank and file Americans legally exercising their Second Amendment Right likewise should not be referred to as "packing heat".

Nice touch from colleen on the donation box angle. Leftists are so shameless when it comes to guilt-tripping. It must come from an intense sense of self-loathing.

The great irony is that Ms Giffords has guns, a Concealed handgun permit, and claimed to be a pretty fair shot.
For those of us that are familiar with the gun community Ms. Giffords would be quite at home at the gun show, were she healthy.
The author is an example of a primary idiot.
