On MTP the questioning of dr. Coburn was definately not civil, it was accusatory. And having al Sharpton on the civility panel was an insult. So much for “civility”

Wallace, FOX Sunday, shows a poll where Christie beats obama in a poll, 43 to 40%, if he ran for president. Christie says he’s not running.....says he’s not ready to be president, not enough experience yet. Says you don’t run for a position just because the opportunity is there at the time, you should be ready for that position.

Amanpour’s agenda was to show that the President’s message resonated in Tucson. Look how well everyone sang Kumbaya.

She’s stuck with her bullship story now with no way to extricate herself.

Karma is so under-rated!!

I gotta agree with PBob on this one. Christie is still dangerous nationally, as he demonstrates with his regular digs at Palin. The conservative honeymoon with Scott Brown was much more brief than it’s been with Christie.

He’s entertaining, for sure, but he really hasn’t done any hard cutting in NJ. It’s standard Northeast RINO mayor/guv fare to wrestle for more control on education and demagogue the issue without ever really getting much done. (See Giuliani, Bloomberg.)

He’s dreadful on immigration, gun control and actually cutting the role of government, IMO—however entertaining his bluster.

Exactly, there was thread on here yesterday noting the change and those were my comments exactly. Until we see who they are we keep donating to individual candidates.

As far as I am concerned the RNC can join us or we will make our own way.

NYT finds someone to excuse the outburst of Fuller to the shooting. Simply IGNORING the fact that he caused a disruption with a Marine BEFORE the shooting.

He had to be separated by Giffords’ staffer Zimmerman who was murdered.

We may never get all the detail from this Justice Department.

Below is a link to my photobucket album that has the videos of this past Monday’s Sussex GOP meeting. Where we fight the good fight down here in the swamps.

Maybe you got better things to do with your life than watch videos of a bunch of yahoos but folks, I had to run like the dickens to get these tapes because they were going to take my camera! My husband said they couldn’t do that, that my videotaping was perfectly legal but they said I was breaking the law. I got home and uploaded it right away.

http://s22.photobucket.com/albums/b323/patfish/delaware/Parliament%20Sussex%20GOP%20Mtg%201%2010%2011/

Might be worth the bother to see how damn mad we are down here in the swamps.

Anyway, Ron Sams is the head of the Sussex GOP. Great guy and I spent many an afternoon talking for hours, about politics, natch, in the Georgetown, Del GOP office where I volunteered. That was quite the job for me and it’s where I met Mike Castle and could talk the ear off of everybody who dropped in.

Only Ron, hey, he went over to the dark side or something. His wife fell down and had a major brain injury right about the time when my husband was recovering from a brain infection. They were both in the same hospital upstate and I corresponded with Ron, telling him about brains and such, what little I knew.

Now as for Don Ayotte. I “met” him online, at the local Blog site Delawarepolitics.net. Turns out he lives near me but I never knew the guy. He’s a journalist and now writes regularly for Redstate.com. He’s also a writer for Delawarepolitics.net and I, hey, go with me here, but I always had something to say, know that’s hard to believe.

I NEVER, not ever, not NEVER, post on any Blog site or web site although I’ve had plenty of offers, once wrote for Blogcritics. It never lasts. I WILL NOT BE EDITED.

Of course this pretty much confines me to Facebook, where I do have quite a following, including every elected official in Sussex county, but I’m okay with that. You pay a price for your independence.

But like I post for this site, it’s how I do on others. Just me, my big mouthed independent self.

One day Don puts up a post on Delawarepolitics.net on me, it was great. He said he thought I was a true patriot, a wonderful writer, someone he admired.

I was very surprised and pleased, well who wouldn’t be?

So at the meeting this past Monday, remember Don is the fellow who put himself up to replace Tom Ross and so made that stupid “parliamentarian” mad. So this fellow comes up and right next to me, I’m not making this up, is an empty chair. The guy says “Can I sit here?”

I knew it was Don because, well he was all shouting and carrying on earlier in the evening but I also knew that Don didn’t know me. As he sat down I debated introducing myself.

I kind of consider myself a scribe of the people, if I should be so bold. My Facebook page is quite big and I like it that I can call people assholes and not be edited. I don’t really care to much for a lot of attention but, heh, shit happens.

So as Don sits down I lean over and say “Don?” “Yes” he responds. I take my name tag and turn it so he can see my name “PAT FISH”.

Right in the middle of the meeting he shouts....PAT FISH???!!!???

I smile.

He stands up and pulls me up to him and gives me the biggest hug, right in front of everybody at the meeting, well damn, it was kind of great and a bit embarrassing.

“You are the only writer in the world better than me,” he shouts out and Ron Sams is up front...dag, last month Ron Sams wouldn’t leave my side at the Christmas GOP meeting, I think trying to get on my good side cause I got a keyboard and they all read it.

And of course I’m a better writer than Don but he does ok.

Ron’s up front conducting this meeting, folks I’m not making this up....and he pounds the gavel and tells me and Don to get a room....

....anyway, it’s a story....heh.

I did post the story of the meeting on my Facebook and I’m now a member of this Sussex Conservative Coalition Caucus but you know what? I’m not going to any meetings because...

...all I wanna be is the scribe.

Ron Reagan has been out of the loop a long time and maybe needs some money. He’s always been a jerk, but it’s a new level to write a book dissing his father.

And, probably a few pathetic leftists will buy this crap.

If I am not mistaken, the new Chair was instrumental in defeating Feingold. Who would have ever thought that could happen.

Al Sharpton is a person who actually causes acts of violence.

Lets hope.I already know their drill. oil is up. Time to plunge even more printed dough into electric cars (that require petro energy to work—to go 40 miles) and bird killing windmills. They will never give up trying to destroy the country. It’s who they are.

Well, that poll Wallace showed was worthless. I didn’t see all of Christie, just the part where he was questioned about a presidential run.

I did think he got in a little jab at Palin when he said he didn’t think 2 years as governor qualified him for the presidency. Oh, yeah.

My respect for him lessens if he disses Palin.

FOX Sunday, interview with Gov. Pawlenty talks about 75 cent increase in cigarette taxes - refers to it as a “health impact fee”. Pawlenty says this tax was the least harmful to economic growth (plus eeevvvviiiiillll smokers are a minority that the majority can get more money from).
