I was thinking EXACTLY the same. They TOTALLY took the Republicans out of their game and put them on the defensive...and the Republicans did not do a single thing wrong.

If I were Rush, and Hantity, and Beck, I would get rid of the bumper music and simply play of short clip of Democrat hate speech at the beginning of every segment - then state who said it, when, where, and to whom...and then talk about football picks or whatever.

” They have created a backlash which will become increasingly evident as the months pass, and will result in a landslide repudiation of their ilk in 2012.”

That’s my reading of the political tea leaves, too. I was doing work on the lefty Yahoo site this past weekend when the shooting news broke. So I scooted over to the Yahoo message board to read. The left wingers were getting slaughtered with their blame Palin/Tea Party memes.

Conservatives and patriots were pouring out of hinterlands and challenging every left wing lie. My guess was 70% or better of the comments on the shooting were posted by conservatives correcting the left wing smears and lies. I stayed quite some time reading comments. The vast majortity of people correctly saw that the shooter was a disturbed and mentally ill person, not a tea party member.

I was quite amazed to see that much conservative action on a left wing site like Yahoo.

There’s most definetly a patriotic renaissance moving to the fore. It’s flying under the MSM radar right now. The left wing will never know what hit them when it surfaces.

Your analysis is spot on.

Every time we go to the supermarket or the gas station, we get slammed in the face with the objects of their diversions.

Wait a minute.
Just 2 weeks ago I heard it announced that inflation was very low....excluding fuel and food. Hellll oooo !
And they announced it with a straight face.
Yesterday I heard that inflation was only 1 1/2% for the month. They were crowing about it.
Is that for the month?? Works out to a huge yearly hit.

And if I were the RNC’s new leader, Reince Priebus, I’d take the same clips and make TV spots out of them so a whole new audience could be exposed to Democrat sliminess.

"...but old, vulnerable people are often frightened.."

To prove the point, a story. Many years ago (1966) the wife and I visited her Grandmother who had a sister living with her. As we went into the house there sat the sister with her head in her hands, crying softly. There were some papers on the table. being just 22 years old and uncomfortable with this display I left the room and my wife stayed to see if she could help. It turns out the paper on the table was a Blue Cross bill for coverage in the amount of some $50.00. She was afraid ahe would not have the money to pay. here's the kicker. She has outlived two doctors and had an estate valued at $750,000 (remember this was the mid 1960's and the value of the estate inflation adjusted to 2010 would be over $5,000,000). People so become frightened they will outlive their money and have nowhere to turn and the Left constantly plays on these fears.
