They did it all (while I was in Houston for six months) earlier this year and I am back home and back at work full time now.

I do know what it’s like to be weaned off a ventilator... it takes a few days.
This is amazing progress. Generally recovery from severe head trauma is measured in months, not days!
Wonderful. As disheartening as the murders were, this is one bright spot.
This is not the doctors doing—this is the merciful Hand of God at work.

Now, had Zero waited one more day, he could have taken credit for more than just the “opening of her eyes.”
The Lord laughs at the “one”.
They went a bit overboard by predicting her chances of survival are “101%” - who knows what could happen? But I’m glad she’s doing so much better than feared.
I don't think they could predict that well. They definitely expected her to survive, but no one can predict how much function she will have. Although it's now looking promising.

I can never explain to anyone except the few who have been there wht it means to have one. Your sacrum is like this thick armor plate down there and it transfers the pressure of something as simple as sitting down to your skeletal system. everytime I sit down now, I can feel the pressure of it all the way up through my internal organs...clear up to sensations around my lungs.
Takes getting used to...and I don't just "flop" down any more...never again.
But...I'm alive and it is what the good Lord has called me to pass through in this life and I will do so, praising Him for life and the opportunity to witness for my Savior.
