Unreal. If they're that scared, they need to resign, NOW.

He should just resign from Congress.

I kinda like the idea - get all the Congresscritters into their respective chambers, and then put up 2” Plexiglass all around....
Air holes optional.....

We need Plexiglas to keep the smelly, whining peasants out of our faces.

I believe that Congress people that vote for handouts to “the poor” should be required to HAND-DELIVER the funds, in cash, to those “poor inner-city folks”......to buy their votes.

Exactly!
Sounds like they have a guilty conscience to me.
How about stop screwing with people’s lives and there wouldn’t be a problem. When people tell you they don’t want you to pass that stupid law maybe you should listen instead of shoving it down our throats.
I guess they are too damned chicken to come out in the real world with the rest of us who could be shot down just as easily as they could or run over by an illegal because they refuse to close the border.
They really need to get over themselves and freaking retire if it’s too much for them to live among their own constituents.

In other news, Congress passes a law requiring all federal officials to be driven around in “popemobiles”, encouraging citizens to pelt the transparent transport with the vegetable or animal matter of their choice.

An aide to Rep. Dan Burton (R-Ind.) tells CBS News that the Indiana Republican plans to introduce legislation next week that would encase the House Gallery in "a transparent and substantial material" such as Plexiglas that would keep members of the public from being able to throw explosives or make other attacks on members on the House floor. The question that comes to mind is "what does he plan on doing that would generate that reaction from the [general] public?"
