What an incredible man and an incredible leader. We need leaders like him to help our country through this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
One hell of an American. It’s an honor to have lived while he did, though I didn’t know him. We’re a better country because he lived.

I cried like a baby as he told that story on the BoB’s disc set I own...his hauntin eyes as he watched reactions showed his resolve
And say what they will about Spielberg and Hanks, I still think the HBO miniseries was one of television's greatest moments.
Goodbye great soldier.
Our prayers for this great man, as well as the untold others who sacrificed years and more for the peace we enjoy.
