“I don’t want to see Gingrich, Romney, JBush, Huckabee.”

Amen, brother.

The man is dead on correct, the woman has a lower approval rating than obamma. You cannot scream people in to supporting Palin if they think she would lose and she would.

“Oh ya NMH. We just can’t have Palin run. Give me four more years of Obama any day, Sarc...”

Ah, another bitter Palin supporter!!!!

Hey, she can run. She’ll lose. She only appeals to a small group. Her negatives are too high and others see her for what she is, a progressive Populist. People like myself want a conservative candidate. DeMint is impressive. He is not shallow, immature and petty like Palin.

Don’t fool yourself. Obama will be someone to contend with. He’ll cheat like hell.

“If DeMint is GREAT. I wish he had executive experience—but that’s a minor quibble. DeMint is principled and courageous. Just what we need now. He has also been vetted and it’s difficult for the MSM to tear him down. He knows the game well and just keeps smiling!”

I like DeMint. I wouldn't worry so much about executive experience. He has brains and will surround himself with people that are sharp and shore those areas up.

Someone like Palin wouldn't have the brain power to do that. She's really dumb. Beyond her patriotic cliches, there is not much going on. As you can see, the Palin botts emphasize their shallowness, immaturity, pettiness and dumbness in their replies to me. They are like Obama butt heads and respond only with their EMOTIONS.

Wrong. Palin supporters will be happy to have Bachmann in the race, and Herman Cain.

>>>> "Palinistas are hoping it ain't serious. I talked to her Minn office. It's more serious than you might think." <<<<

It's my impression that Congresswoman Bachmann and Governor Palin are quite close, but that they do NOT parade their close association in public - it's a private friendship.

IMNSHO, there is simply NO way that Sarah Palin was not aware of this information LONG ago.

As others have opined, what is important is a Winning Candidate, a winner who has the Right Views and Platform.

It's still very early, the campaign doesn't begin in earnest for quite some time...... but if what you say is correct, this campaign will be VERY interesting..... Bachmann is articulate and a skilled debater, and her beliefs are obviously of such paramount importance to her that she'll go ANYWHERE to present them to the public, and if that is MSNBC, or even MTV, she is game! :)

If nothing, else, it is very humorous & heart warming to watch her successfully ALWAYS throw Chrissy Matthews into a Hissy Chrissy Tantrum. LOL!

Palin would be great as head of EPA or Energy departments.

Maybe a portfolio for "drill baby drill"

Better yet,,,, in charge of winding down rouge departments such as the EPA BATF, Education (oxymoron alert) and PBS.

Bachman would likely derail Palin. She's much more educated and intelligent and knowledgeable. Since they both appeal to Conservative voters, Bachman could be Palin’s worst nightmare.

I’m waiting to see who really, really wants it & to watch the debates - and then I’ll decide.

If you are planning on the debates to help you decide who the best candidate would be, you may be waiting a long time.

You may recall 2008 where "the powers that be" and TV networks decided who would be permitted to grace the stage in THEIR debates. As well as who would actually get to speak on said stage.

Those dark horse candidates of whom you speak would undoubtedly be ignored, much like Tancredo, Keyes, Hunter, Brownback, Cox and that Jim guy who was a former VA governor. IF they were given a question it was generally a set up, similar to the homosexual Brig. Gen. who they thought would embarrass Hunter on DADT.

Palin has the wrong voice.

Another solid reason from a rational Palin basher. She's too shallow, voice is too high, she shoots animals, she eats meat, she wouldn't murder her baby, she only sleeps with her own husband, she's a quitter, she made too much money selling books, she is really stupid... we've heard them all, and while Sarah is my first choice, unlike the irrational Sarah haters, she's not my only choice.

I would vote for the Bachmann, Turner, Overdrive in a general election, and won't whine about it like the emotional, irrational Sarah haters.

I don't put blackpacific in the Sarah hater class, like the urine-aunt, 3 initials-nmh {or FYA} or many other FReepers.

You are being too harsh on Palin. She is an excellent marketer, very shrewd and driven.

What you call “dumb”, I call she isn’t quite done marinating yet. She needs to spend some time thinking about policy and issues, where she really stands, and be able to articulate that at the drop of a hat. What she thinks may not please everyone all the time and she needs to not worry about that. Wisdom comes with age.

She should have finished her term as Governor. Then maybe beat MooCow for the Senate seat first.

She would have been well seasoned after that. We do know that she would press drilling for oil.

She should have finished her term as Governor.

And she would have, if it wouldn't have cost the state too much in frivilous lawsuits, complaints, and foia requests.

Then maybe beat MooCow for the Senate seat first.

Or she could take on Democrat senate Mark Begich in 2014, why wait until 2016 for the Murk. Either way she has some fence mending to do in Alaska. They seem to think she left because she got too big for them.

she needs executive experience & success before running for Prez.

> BS, the woman has a law degree and was a state senator for year.

Congresswoman Bachmann is a graduate of Anoka High School and Winona State University. Bachmann and her husband, Marcus, live in Stillwater where they own a small business mental health care practice that employs 42 people. The Bachmanns have five children, Lucas, Harrison, Elisa, Caroline, and Sophia. In addition, the Bachmanns have opened their home to 23 foster children, which has inspired Congresswoman Bachmann to become one of Congress’ leading advocates for foster and adopted children, earning her bipartisan praise for her efforts.

Her own business and 28 children is enough executive experience for me. Not only that, but she is smart enough to choose and surround herself with advisors who are experts in their fields while holding her conservative views.

BTW, what executive experience did/does the poe currently squatting in the People's House have? OK...bad example.
What executive experience did McCain, Biden, Hillary, Edwards, and most of the others have? Huckananny, Thompson (Tommy) and Romney all had executive experience, but I wouldn't walk out my front door to say hello to them.

It will be hard to use those reasons when it was you who signed the law used by your opposition to drive you from office.

But, no matter, what is done is done and it will all play out in the end. Can’t go back now.

Palin is a shrewd marketer. How much money has she made in the last 2 years? 25 million? She is making $$$$ off of her devoted followers. I hope she remains in the private sector, helping to stimulate the economy.

If it weren't for Palin, you would not know who he ( DeMint) is. He literally followed her around the country to gain name recognition.

At Thanksgiving, 2013, Palin won't pardon the turkey, she'll personally hack him up on the spot. Just what we need in this country, sanity!

She'll have to unambiguously state her view(s) sooner or later. As will anyone seeking the GOP nod. As for Mrs Palin, it's my opinion that she has difficulty in separating her Christian beliefs from secular ones. I don't know where, or even if one should, draw a line between the two. Not an enviable place to be for a politician.

I just read this tweet from the Cardinal Newman Society: "Pro-Abortion Feingold Appointed Professor at Catholic Marquette University"

I tell you, they make very hard to be a Catholic.
