This is a prelude to the 2012 elections.
There is a constant drumbeat of the end of the world by at least 10 causes, from Mayan calenders to galactic alignments. Movies, articles, and a whole raft of media outlets.
Now this, similar to the Shark Attack Summer.
These “nature anomalies” will be publicized until we get tired of them or the people pushing it think it’s been effective enough.
Then it will be something else- melting ice, growing ice, who knows.
This will keep up, Alinsky-style, until a large number of us are concerned or even panicked. THEN we’ll see that only Obama (or whoever the progressive candidate is) can solve this pending calamity.
Sort of like Clinton, Y2K, and The Bridge to the 21st Century but on an epic scale.
