That sort of thing briefly reached new heights during the dot-com era, when such companies were noted for providing incredibly luxurious cafeteria services and massages at one’s desk and all manner of cultlike company practices such as workers almost didn’t have to go home.
Little of that survived the dot-com bust, however.
I kinda, sorta think that destroying the marriages of one’s employees does anything whatsoever for the bottom line.
