As for the troops, these wars are things that are draining our economy.

"These wars" were going on during the time of unprecedented uninterrupted job growth, 3.5 years of unemployment below 5%, after-tax per capita personal income and real wages both rose significantly, productivity growth was well above average and the federal budget deficit was down to 1.2% of GDP in FY07, which was well below the 40 year average.

Despite the 2000 Recession, the attacks on 9-11, the stock market scandals, Hurricane Katrina,(as well as all the other hurricanes and natural disasters) and wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Bush Administration was able to reduce the budget deficit from 412 billion dollars in 2004 to 162 billion dollars in 2007, a sixty percent drop, and was well on its way to zero until the commies took over and began their dastardly deeds.

No...it is NOT "these wars" that are draining our economy, but the 40 million illegal alien invading bastards, the unproductive 30-40% of our population who choose to live off the labor of the productive members of our society, and the 535 communist bastards sitting in the US CONgre$$, along with their Comrade Chairman residing down the street who are systematically, deliberately, draining our economy. The wars? Not so much.

Sorry, I've had many interruptions and must get out of here now, but first...

This is accomplished by the vote...

LOL! Start here! I've got a million of them if you need more.

If this cannot be done or will not be allowed by a government

OK...how long are we supposed to wait?
mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Actually - the GOP does bear a portion of the blame - rightfully so. Not only have many in the GOP been just as spend-happy as the Dems... but in the big picture - they didn’t say “NO” and take whatever action necessary to stop the landslide. I firmly believe that is part of what caused the previous turnover of the house and senate (2006 mid-term).

No backbone Republicans are no better than Marxist Democrats.
