Big deal.
So were Rae Carruth and O. J. Simpson
Vick should have been marinated in beef gravy for a week then locked in a room with a dozen hungry Rottweilers.
No second chances for dog-killers in the NFL.
I WANNA SEE HIM SUFFER A CAREER-ENDER.

Right On, Will.
Amazing! You are worse in your thoughts than Vick ever was!
Big Ben, as in Roethlisberger.
Caught up in a he said - she said with some coed bimbo in Georgia last summer....of course in Ben’s case, the cops and DA dropped the matter.
IIRC the reports at the time, the guy was shot after Vick left the party?
I totally agree with that.
No defense of what Vick did, but I think the cultural aspects have been completely overlooked. He will forever have to prove himself because of it. You can disagree with the price he paid, but he paid the price that was asked. The level of hatred expressed toward him here IMO borders on pathological.
Excuse me, but MY dog is a valued member of the family.
Its you “Oh, its just a dog” people that mystify me.
Nothing compared to what the Redskins have done to him.
I agree with your post. Sadly agree!
No one’s forbidding him to earn a living.
He could sit at the window and ask “You want fries with that?”
dfwgator: Nothing compared to what the Redskins have done to him.
This is usually the point in the argument where I concede.
I have no words for this. If I really say what I want to say I will forever get banned from FR.
Don’t forget Arlen “The Magic Bullet” Specter......
Yes. He was shot after Vick left the party. Vick left the club four minutes before the shooting. He was shot about a block from the club. Police know who the shooter was but won't release the name since the victim is not cooperating. Wonder why the dude is not cooperating with the police?
I’m not following his life with any degree of scrutiny, so I’m still wondering if he has or can awaken to reject the cruelty aspects of what allowed him to be so cruel to these animals? To my mind, that is the essence of this issue with Vic: is he reformed, awake to the wrong of his cruelty to these animals, not just playing a game of “I learned my lesson when I got caught.”
Well then of course there is what Michael Strachan did to him in that Dr. Pepper commercial, now that was cold.
No, its called letting the punishment fit the crime.
You are sadly deficient in your Gilbert & Sullivan
;=)
OUCH - I stand corrected / amended......
It's amazing how many here can't see the difference.
