There are still a lot of Texas haters out there. Some of it is jealousy over the mineral wealth as they think everyone down here is Jed Clampitt. Or that we all live on Riata with Elizabeth Taylor and say “Yeehaw!” when the cabrito is served at the roundup barbecue. Another reason is our pride in once being an independent nation and being larger than most other states. Other than a different twang, I don’t find much difference in Texans and anyone else in the South.
I can’t blame you. Tucson is a good place especially where you were. You can ride year round too. I do miss the weather for sure. Short load concrete deliveries would go real good out there too.

Ha, true Clara Lou. Just voicing my frustration at how the rats mess up their own state and now they are going to come down and mess up mine. There’s enough liberals in Austin already, we don’t need to import any more!
