But in national issues Brown is part of the Republican caucus, etc. And I will say more Republicans did join the
MA legislature this time around, but yes other positions
like gov., auditor, treasurer, etc are in Dem hands again.
The GOP will control the U.S. House which means the 10
Dems re-elected as US Reps in MA (which is all of them,
soon to be 9) they will now be in the minority
Well, I and many others had sense enough not to start shouting “Brown 2012!” about a man who hadn’t yet served a day in his newly elected position.
There was some other stuff but Alioto got confirmed.
All of the Republicans were RINOs or persons of questionable moral standing as Republicans. The only 2 left now are McCain and Graham. We got rid of the other 5 ~
I doubt there are as many as 17 RINOs ~ remember, some of the people you're pointing to are not coming back in January.

Considering where Brown and Collins/Snowe are from, I’ll take it. They are significantly better that another Kennedy type. If the Tea party can’t see that then they are dense. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
It’s people like Lindsey Graham and Lugar from red states that need to get the boot for real conservatives.
