I’m going to FL the end of January. The plane tickets were a gift to me. I’ve been considering wearing a caftan or mumu with nothing under them. Thoughts??????????

You’re confusing two separate things. He did give security information to the terrorists. That’s a known fact. You are then speculating that the terrorists may have already known the information but you have no proof of that.

I'm very familiar with airports and know a lot of pilots, and you can see quite a lot of what goes on around the airplanes just being in an airport in the normal passenger areas. You can see A LOT if you pay attention. Assuming that our enemies are ignorant is very dangerous.

That's on top of the quality of employees that work at some airports - it would be easy for people to infiltrate them. You've traveled, you know the quality of employees working at all levels. The crews do go through more scrutiny than everybody else.

By that twisted logic then we should not have classified information because foreign spies probably already have the info anyway.

It's for another thread, but if a homosexual PFC in the Army can get hundreds of thousands of documents smuggled out to Wikileaks, I'm pretty sure the Russians, Chinese, and God knows who else have gotten similar information. That's a completely different matter than this airline pilot though - the stuff he is describing could be easily learned by anybody who is halfway intelligent, because it's not behind closed doors.

I am very familar with airports and know lots of pilots too. I don’t agree that just because a terrorist can observe and figure out security gaps on their own that it is OK for a pilot to publicly advertise security weaknesses. That is just stupid. We’ll never agree on this. Have a nice new year.
