I know this post is dated . . .go to the link you provided and note there are two videos. The second video is enhanced from the security camera.
Note: There is snow visible on the ground and roads. The Somali woman, Saida Said, is appropriately dressed for this wintery weather. She is wearing a red coat, dark scarf and hat. It is unclear whether she is wearing the same black/green sack visible in the news report under the winter gear. When seated and driving in her automobile, would the other driver (alleged attacker) be able to distinguish her hat and scarf from a hijab behind a closed auto window/windshield? From the video footage provided thus far, it is not distinguishable at all.
Also note: The enhanced video zooms in on the two vehicles and the man walking to the drivers side window of Saida Said’s automobile. Yet, the enhanced video does not make any such attempt to zoom in on the alleged attackers vehicle or license plate as it backs up and leaves. One would think this would help narrow down the make/model of the vehicle — if not actually identify the license plate numbers.
Questions:
Why would Saida Said open her car window to this man? If she felt threatened, why didn’t she close the window?
Does anyone know if pepper spray leaves a stain? If, as Saida Said states, the man attacked her with pepper spray, there should be ample evidence on the outside of her car window as well as inside. If however, the spray evidence is only on the inside of the car window, one can assume that Saida is the one attempting to use the spray in her own defence but missed.
Watch the second video again. Saida isn’t acting like she has pepper spray burning her eyes (which supposedly were covered by her headgear/bag). The video demonstrates a woman is upset, but not trying to clear her eyes. She looks more angry and upset than hurt. The man that comes from the mosque doesn’t appear to help her or check her show any concern for her eyes at all.
I call B.S. on this entire performance.
I agree with you no acts to confirm burning eyes. All BS.
