I hope he runs for governor. If he runs for POTUS now, he’s liable to wreck his future chances. He’s a good man, but he needs more experience and more exposure.

President. He’ll get the exposure, if he runs, and he’s been in office for 9 years. That’s enough experience. We need him at the national level.

Pense is ok, but my pic for 2012 is Palin.

Pence says he’s tired of fighting in the lame duck session and just wants to go home. Adios gelding.

he would do more good for the country and Indiana as Senator Pence. He would beat Lugar like a rented mule.

Agree, Governor. He also needs to learn how to make decisions with insufficient information rather than criticize with 20/20 hindsight.
To: PhiloBedo
I hope that’s his decision, but why give Lugar notice?
I’m thinking he’s either going to run for governor or give the GOP nomination a shot.

Almost no one goes from Congress to President. He needs to run for Governor.

Experience in what? It’s all about leadership. Experience is what you hire a staff for.
To: onyx
LOL! That was a great episode. I loved seeing all the doggies.
To: pissant
His plan might be to enter the Republican primaries to gain national exposure for another run four or eight years later. Few win the nomination during their first run, and it seems even harder for a member of he House who are less known than senators and governors.
