A conservative political scientist and historian believes Sarah Palin will have the advantage among the field of GOP presidential hopefuls when the Iowa caucuses begin a little more than a year from now -- but adds that doesn't guarantee she'll win the nomination.
.....
"She's not demonstrated the seriousness of purpose. [And] she's not taken the vocal training that she should," he suggests. "She comes off more like a high school cheerleader rather than a serious aspirant for the Republican presidential nomination."
A fine example of congnitive dissonance by the so-called political pundits.
They just can't figure out why us rubes support her.
Many think we are star-crossed or just plain dumb.
Idiots!

Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. But then again, most women’s are when they try to give a rousing speech. Part of human nature

"She's not demonstrated the seriousness of purpose. Compared to who? Mitt and Huck? LOL! Mitt comes off as a flip flopping desperado that will do anything to be prez and Huck comes off as a goofy criminal coddling nanny stater amnestyphile.
[And] she's not taken the vocal training that she should,"
This I agree with, in terms of the tone of her voice. She delivers very well, but she needs a deeper more forceful tone. It is by no means a showstopper though.
"She comes off more like a high school cheerleader rather than a serious aspirant for the Republican presidential nomination."
Again, compared to who? She has showed far more seriousness that the other potential candidates by bashing the commies relentlessly and getting national attention for it AND gaining vicious liberino hatred in response. If liberinos hate you, Liberty loves you, its that simple.
Go Sarah!

“The Tea Party” is running against history and time, and neither favors “The Tea Party.”
If history is the best predictor of the future, and it usually is, “The Tea Party” will have a short shelf life. Beginning well before the Civil War, such movements have come and gone, including the Locofocos, Barnburners, Free Soil, Anti-Masonic, Know-Nothing, Populist, Progressive and a host of others. In 1948 it was Strom Thurmond’s Dixiecrats; in 1968, George Wallace’s American Independent Party; and in 1992, Ross Perot’s Reform Party. History says that like all of those movements “The Tea Party” will have “one day in the sun.”

What if the contest is Hillary vs. Palin?
Two bad voices, what counts then?

Hillary vs Palin? of course I would vote for Palin..
I always vote for the conservative or repub candidate over the dem... including McCain, who would have been far better than OBama
don’t think it would come to that.
