Well I dont see she holds a camera and takes pictures of herself. People take pic of her? why? Seems to me your favorite Hunter, Romney or whomever only wish a camera would follow them. Maybe they need to buy one.

I imagine that Sarah understands that additional airlifts will not turn Haiti into Denmark, but additional aid can save lives that would otherwise succumb to cholera.

Sarah is saving lives.

Palin understands that the relief supplies needed to stem the cholera epidemic and save lives is actually rather cheap.

Do you want us to let these children die?

To 37 - Intriguing idea. How would you keep adults (parents, relatives) separate from the children? Would the children have any exposure to the world outside the institution they are in? And the big question, unless the children were forced to enroll in this against their, or their parents’ will, (which defeats the entire purpose), how would you populate the classrooms?

Why can’t we worry about our own kids in America first. I mean what about the children dying in America. Why are we worried about another country?

What children are you referring to?

First show me a desire to stand on your own feet before I bother trying to give you a hand up.

I am awfully damn tired of us tossing billions in tax dollars down the worlds various rat holes.

Go into Appalachia and it is horrifying. That is just one of areas that kids die due to poor nutrition and other problems.

As Silverleaf stated:

“She went at Graham’s invitation, to draw attention to the need in Haiti. It’s a year after the earthquake and donor fatigue is setting in

If you are dying of cholera, any publicity about your plight is good publicity. The lamestream media bashing Sarah at least draws attention back to conditions in Haiti.
She did not go there to get drawn into interviews intended to misquote her and kindle foreign policy debates.

Greta Van Sustern BTW, has gone on 2 previous Samaritan’s Purse aid distributions, one in 2008 to North Korea before anyone heard of Sarah Palin.

Do you think Bubba and Bush41 and other celebrities go to Haiti and other disaster zones to change bedpans? Or to gain press coverage of the situation on the ground and gain first hand impressions of the conditions to bolster pitches for donor aid?”

Anyways, this is private aid. I don’t see what’s objectionable about it.

We already send billions of dollars to Appalachia, and it’s never helped.

Because if it gets to bad in Haiti, we will have additional Haitian boat lifts and those who do not die on the voyage will end up in Florida and be dependent on the US taxpayer for the rest of their lives.

I am sure Palin may have had good intentions...but we need less Globalism and more Americanism.

Whether it is tax dollars or private funds, America can no longer subsidize and redistribute wealth to Third World nations...especially those that are permanent basket-cases like Haiti.

Even Haitians that I know, realize that Haiti has major problems that pouring more money into will not help

I just hope this is not Palin with an extended Globalist agenda....she supported the treasonous LOST treaty that Bush 43 tried to push through

Time to put American first.....cut all foreign aid until our own house is in order.

Let me guess....you are against unemployment benefits, but are FOR more foreign aid.

Indeed.

Sarah should set the example by donating some of her book millions instead of asking those who are hurting.

The aid for Haiti that Sarah is requesting is very minimal unlike the billions we send nations in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

And yes, I believe that 99 weeks of unemployment benefits is ridiculous.
