It will be worth seeing the NEW house taking out the 13 month unemployment extension as well as the 1 year holiday in deductions that would hurt SS and MC. Sent it back to the senate and tell the dems if they want to keep their jobs, they better pass it. The Tea Party conservatives with the support of a huge majority of the voters that won last November said “no more deficit”. It will be interesting come January after they are sworn in how the tits of big government will dry up and we will finally turn this country around from the socialist pig it has evolved over the past decades.

Child credit falls from $1,000 per child to $500 per child.Am I the only one who questions misleading labels like this one?
What is "credit?"
How many "children" has this covered in the last fiscal year?
What percentage of families which claim the "credit" actually pay income taxes?
Are some "children" more equal than others? Can any family with a child claim it?
Or is this another magic semantic trick to hide another massive entitlement welfare program behind a fraudulent name? Remember "medicaid?"

"Januarys State of the Union address should be pretty interesting." Send the Repubs and a few dims to "shoe throwing 101 class"
And for those without shoes ...some barking lessons.

I prefer tax cuts for people who pay taxes. I’m not in favor of growing (or maintaining) the number of employed people who pay nothing or actually RECEIVE a check from the government every year. I think that is bullshit. It makes us enemies of each other. Everyone should have some skin in the game. It doesn’t have to be much, but it should be something. So, I guess it is the “progressivist” tax system that I’m opposed to.
