Miss me yet?
To: Sub-Driver
“Miss me yet?” No! But I REALLY miss President Reagan!
To: Sub-Driver
Sadly, it’s meaningless now.
To: Sub-Driver
Good for Bush, however, I miss Reagan most of all.

"Sadly, its meaningless now." I wouldn't say meaningless. This shift in opinion effectively neuters Obama's argument about "not going back to the days of Bush". How many times did he repeat that phrase on the stump this fall?
It seems pretty clear that people are really starting to miss the "days of Bush". That's not meaningless in the context of contemporary political discourse.

I was just thinking of this. Poll numbers for 0. During Bush it was every single day. It has been a constant Wiki-Leaks for days now.

That didn’t take very long, did it?
Mark my words, people will take note of the “miss me yet” pictures, just like we have fond memories of “I like Ike!”

Of course I miss him. Despite the many diagreements with Bush, his results have been better. I remember the days of %5 unemployment...
To: OldDeckHand
To freepers, the “days of Bush” means TARP, freddie mac and amnesty. To liberals it means tax cuts and an America that isn’t afraid to protect itself.

It doesn’t neuter his lies...and he’s still president....and he’s still advancing his agenda.
To: OldDeckHand
Yes, it's far from meaningless. It means a bunch of people are sobering up and a bunch of people who never were drunk in the first place are making themselves heard now.
Bush's book, Decision Points, is a very interesting inside view of the Bush presidency. I'd like to hear from some of Bush's most vehement FR critics who have actually read his side of story in Decision Points.

I recommend Freepers read Decision Points. It's not that the book will change anyone's mind, but it seems only fair to hear the man out.

To freepershateful BDSers, the days of Bush means TARP, freddie mac and amnesty. There .. fixed it.
And the longer this poisonous president and tyrant haunts our White House, the higher Pres. Bush's approval numbers will rise. He *is* American to his core.
