Yeah, right.
Your sewer analogy is good. Most movies are drek (like your sewage) these days. But those who love movies are free to join Netflix or Amazon and stream until they drop. Just don’t expect me to be dunned by Comcast/ISPs for your movie habits. Don’t expect me to go for the inevitable higher internet fees to cover your mega-gigabyte habits. You pay for it
The streamers want something for nothing. They know that increasing cable rates on big time streamers is bad business that will give Comcast awful PR. So Comcast will take it out of NetFlix’ hide. Fine by me.
BTW Netflix stock is up 273% YTD. They can well afford the fees Comcast is extracting from them.
Plus don’t you surmise that NetFlix and Amazon are Obama full of Obama supporters? While Comcast is known as slightly right of center. Another reason the Obama clones are pushing net neutrality
Sounds like a short candidate. Except I stopped shorting twenty years ago for philosophic reasons. Used to hedge as a matched set of longs and shorts according to some measurable comparison of response dynamics to market conditions. It works well, but who cares. Sticking to a good philosophy is worth all the gold in the World. As long as you can eat and stay healthy.
Comcast is more like blue dog Democratic types, imo.
Amazon is Amazon, Californian high-entrepreneurial. For Obama? Doubt it, except like a fad. Netflix I don’t know.
I'd like more money. I think I'll stick it to you. Send me $1000 in small unmarked bills, and no whining that I haven't actually done anything for you that I deserve to get paid for.
