First thing first, Congressman Lewis — How about getting the water flowing again to California’s Central Valley?

Could they institute “negative” earmarks; i.e., no funding for the salary of Lisa Jackson? :)

Never mind the gutting the funding bullshit - the problem is delegation of legislative and judicial power to the executive, and it would be a problem if the budget was ten cents.

REPEAL the Environmental Protection Act of 1971. VOID all regulations, grants, contracts, RFPs and other emanations from the former EPA. TERMINATE all employees, with a provision that they may not seek Federal re-employment, nor serve as principal on any Federal grant or contract, for 10 years. SELL all the buildings, and tear down those unsold after six months.

The EPA is an abomination, a destroyer of Liberty. It must be uprooted and the branches cast into the flames.

After all that is accomplished, I'll send money to the GOP again. Not before.

How about getting the water flowing again to California’s Central Valley?

Yea, my blood boils every time I think about Californians returning two Central Calif. Demonrats back to Congress (CA-11 and CA-20).

And yes, both of the elections were STOLEN and decided by illegal aliens!!

Fortunately, I live just north of CA-11 in CA-3 where we returned a good strong Republican (Dan Lundgren). I'm disappointed with the lukewarm call for change from farmers who should have been shouting from the rooftops. At this point, I am for ending ALL farm subsidies. I believe this is how the Democrats keep the farmers on the plantation. It all makes me sick.

Agree that should be a priority as well.

OK, OK that first but IMMEDIATELY thereafter defund the entire EPA. All of it. Not even enough money to buy a box of paper clips.

I’ll believe it when it happens, until then it’s a pipe dream. Too many Democrats, I mean RINO’s to let that happen.

Stripping of funding merely delays the totalitarians. EPA needs to be eliminated. Ended. Its employees need to ALL be put on the unemployment lines.

I'm with you the Republicans don't have the courage to do this. As soon as the Democrats dig up that old Indian dude with the tear coming down his cheek the Repubs will fold.
