Why doesn’t AMD get busy on finishing the Bulldozer processor instead of playing these PC games. They get that monster chip to the market and they can buy Tesla Motors e-cars for the whole development team. If they don’t get busy, Intel is going to reduce them to riding around in used golf carts.

that looks like mere marketing to me. "Cloud" is the buzzword these days, as (predictably) a perverse vertical integration in data dictatorship takes place.
I'm sure AMD wouldn't have lifted a finger to do what they're doing if the obama administration didn't make it worth their whiles, at the taxpayers' expense, of course.
