The really creepy thing is that the fraud’s lawyer is making the argument that the university’s investigation, by itself, was an illegal adverse employment action. Saying the employer cannot even do an investigation of the facts.

I think this case is in the state rather than federal courts. So the 9th circus shouldnt be a factor.

Not that I am a lawyer who knows what I am talking about.
