She only served for two of the three years she held the office because year 3 was spent as the VP candidate. Hardly a comparison to running California for 8 years. You are self deluded to think so. Both governors! Both hated by the left! Both said to be unqualified! Both w/ brown hair! It's uncanny!!!! /s If you are going to debate the issue effectively you need to do better than making the same unsupported statements over and over.

If, in fact, the media, dims and libs tried to paint Reagan as unqualified, they tried it because in many minds his hollywood career was what they remembered. There was no way he was unqualified and they knew it.

In Palin's case, they did it preemptively because Obozo was, and is, unqualified. The Repubs just didn't have the brains to push the issue effectively. She may be the best choice, or may not. But plenty of others are working to gain experience. She is currently only working to gain popularity. Does she do a good job of forwarding conservative ideas? You betcha. But so do others who have already eclipsed her level of experience.

I think she's qualified and I think this qualification thing is a red-herring non-issue.

Hi Tamar, I have heard Savage repenting of the Brown clown stuff, and he repented of the Romney stuff, too.

Has he apologized for calling all of us anti-Mormon bigots for not falling in love with Romney, hook, line and sinker?! No, I didn't think so. I can't cut Savage any slack anymore. It isn't that I dislike Romney's politics, I despise them. RINO's make my skin crawl. Savage may have felt he got a bit burned when he had "endorsed" Duncan Hunter in 2008 and Hunter got little to no traction (even though he was the favorite for many of us early in the primary) but that doesn't excuse calling us anti-Mormon bigots because we didn't drink the Romney kool-aid.

Having said that, I still love his show. I basically don’t trust Rush, and cannot stand to listen to him or to Glenn Beck....

I <3 Glenn Beck! Well, the TV show anyway (It's more serious than Beck's radio show). The guy is a voracious reader and a perpetual student of the Constitution and our history and even if his delivery is occassional frenetic, I appreciate that a lot more than being talked down to.
