“Get thirty years of history behind them, before such a widespread application.”

Who do you have volunteer to use these things for 30 years? What number of people get exposed and to what level? What if there already is a cadre of humans with exposure to the same wavelength, at higher doses, with no apparent problems? The application is different, but it’s still xray.

Why not look at the effects of air flight radiation? We have millions of people and more than 30 years. The LET is higher, so it’s more penetrating (in the case of xray scanners). But the exposed population is quite large.

What do you think of the BIER VII report?

The mmW scanners only penetrate skin 1/64th of an inch, different story.

You can opt out at any time. if you do, you will be asked to go trough the metal detector and then subjected to molestation by a GED graduate wearing blue gloves. He will feel up your private parts and not even buy you dinner first.

That is party what is so stupid about it. They have these machines but most people choose to go to regular metal detectors when they have the option. The TSA “randomly” selects people to go through the nude-ifier machine. If you decline you get the feel up. But others “randomly” are not even selected.

Though I think in some airports they don’t have anything but the scanners. I think Tulsa doesn’t have regular metal detectors anymore (I flew through there twice in the last 12 months and I think they only have the scanners) but most other airports have scanners and metal detectors.

There is a rebellion brewing on 11/24 for everyone to demand that they bypass the scanners and be felt up. That would bring the whole system to it’s knees. Especially now that 0 has given the Muslims a pass for their women.

TSa Body scanners.

Possible health effects
Millimeter wave radiation and radio frequency radiation in general is not inherently carcinogenic (unlike X-rays and ultraviolet radiation), but exposure to lower frequencies of microwaves have demonstrated an increased risk of cancer and faster rates of tumor progression.[10]

A study conducted by Boian S. Alexandrov and colleagues at the Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico[11] performed mathematical models how terahertz fields interact with double-stranded DNA, showing that, even though involved forces seem to be tiny, nonlinear resonances (although much less likely to form than less-powerful common resonances) could allow terahertz waves to “unzip double-stranded DNA, creating bubbles in the double strand that could significantly interfere with processes such as gene expression and DNA replication”.[

BAD JUJU!!!!!!!

Look how deeply THz waves penetrate the body, before relying on a “mathemaical model of DNA” to determine risk.

Global Warming is a mathematical model, enhanced by hockey sticks.

Yes and this could work in some but not all airports. Some airports have only the make-u-nude machines, but most have a mix of both make-u-nudes and metal detectors.

If they decide to do a counter-rebellion, they will just shut off the make-u-nudes and force everyone through the regular metal detectors, and pat nobody down. Only if you refuse the make-u-nude do they do they molest you. If you are randomly assigned to a metal detector they don’t touch you at all.

Sure, TSA doing this would undermine the credibility of the TSA assertion that they need the make-u-nudes to keep us safe, but they don’t care they are bureaucrats. They will go back the next day to demanding that the make-u-nude is an essential part of national security, pretending the day they didn’t use them didn’t exist.

Hopefully a few of the airports have enough dumb TSA agents and/or not enough metal detectors that it makes a big enough problem. Just a few delayed planes here and there could gum up all the works around the country due to connections and the flight patterns of the planes. I want the make-u-nudes and the molestations gone so hopefully this will work.
