The only current shows this Republican watches frequently (excluding politics and public affairs):
REALITY
History Channel only, Pawn Stars and a few others
MUSIC
Austin City Limits (the only PBS must)
Later w/ Jools Holland (BBC America)
SCIFI
Stargate Universe
Caprica (although it’s starting to bore me)
The Walking Dead
COMEDY
South Park
Family Guy
Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show (Great Job!)
DRAMA
In Plain Sight
True Blood

Of course not, but my kids are old enough watch whatever they want.
But lets face it, there are lots of shows on TV where people get murdered any number of ways. There is always the occasional waco who emulates what they see on TV or in the Movies. But we all know that behavior is very rare—almost everyone can tell fantasy from reality. I don’t advocate taking something I like off the air because of that.

Wow! I’m familiar with these shows, but mine aren’t on either list (Burn Notice, Human Target, Leverage, old Criminal Minds). I must be an anomaly!

Yes the loyalty and brotherhood thing is attractive reminding me of my young days spent in the Army. And I ride, have guns and spent my life doing things my way rather than a corporate way. Of course I drew the line at shooting competitors or folks who dissed me. :-}
But what really has me glued is the inner struggle that Jackson has had since reading his fathers memoirs. The timeless battle of good versus evil wracking his mind and soul.
I haven't figured out yet where the writers are gonna end up on that.

I gave up on “Dexter” after the start of the Jimmy Smits season. I prefer my soaps and old “Miami Vice” reruns.

I concur. Going back to the flick “Things I hate About You”, I've thought she was attractive.
The flip side is that she is a flaming lib, and IIRC, she also is a puffer. Still, she's pretty, with cupie-doll type features.

I must be behind the times...I am still watching Andy Griffith, Hogan's Heroes, Zorro, I Love Lucy, Robin Hood (1955?), and Spin and Marty. :)

I think someone was just filling space to keep his paycheck coming.
And the people that answered "Keith Olbermann" just did it so as not be kicked out of the moonbat "kool" crowd. Anybody with a sense of truth, accuracy, facts, and decency would not be watching KO unless they have to.
To: DogByte6RER
I’ve never seen a single episode of any of those shows.

Democrats . . . seem to like shows about damaged people. . . the top show . . . is . . . 'Countdown With Keith Olbermann' for Democrats.

Dexter is forensic scientist psychopathic killer that you hate to love. The first season was a bit on the raunchy side for me but it’s a show that keeps your attention.

My “must” list:
The League (FX)
Always Sunny in Philly (FX)
The Office (although it's been really bad for the last 2 seasons) (NBC)
My “If I catch it, I catch it” list:
Dragnet (RTV)
Adam 12 (RTV)
It Takes a Thief (RTV)
Rubicon (AMC)
My “Bummer I can't have a satellite dish” list:
Damages (DirecTV, formerly on FX) Best-written show on TV, IMO.

I have never watched most of these shows. The only ones on the list I have watched with any regularity are Glenn Beck and NCIS. What I want to know is where does Psych fit in?

A friend turned me on to Dexter about two months ago.
So far I’ve watched seasons one through three,
Great show, very different from nearly anything I’ve seen so far. Nearly riveting.
And I’m a lifelong very conservative pubbie, up til now.
Leaning towards the tea party and possibly looking for a govt overthrow.
