“we eat our own around here. and there is a certain segment of people in our party who are sexist and dont want female leaders.

its sad.”

Very true. We have some people that are totally obsessed with bashing Sarah Palin 7/24 - one FReeper in particular seems to spend every waking hour looking for anything negative, regardless of how trivial it may be.

Rove talked O’Donnell down starting on the night she won the primary.

When Rove says she “can’t be elected,” the message to independents and cross over voters is that she isn’t worth voting for.

Rove is to blame. He has no excuse.

“Why did some good GOP candidates not win”

Because the democrat cheating was heavily focused only in some areas.

Glen Urquhart, the Republican who ran for Mike Castle’s old US House of Representative seat (remember, Castle gave that up to run for the Senate), never dabbled in witchcraft nor was a pretty young woman, but still lost by the same margin Christine O’Donnell lost the Senate bid to Coons.

It seems Delaware didn’t have a witch problem as much as too many folks voting democrat problem.

We have to flip more voters. If it’s not close they can’t steal it.

RE: Three reasons: Democrat Corruption, Democrat Corruption and Democrat Corruption!!!

How Can one explain the fact that close to 360,000 voters (and 2% of Republicans) voted for ALVIN GREENE in South Carolina over Jim DeMint?

Can we blame it on Democratic corruption? Or must we conclude that hundreds of thousands of voters and yes, Republicans are lazy, stupid or apathetic regarding who their senator will be?

In terms of Demographics, I have a bad feeling that the population trend is moving against the GOP long term.

The GOP won in ONE DEMOGRAPHIC SECTOR — THE WHITE VOTE. Of course whites still (emphasis on “still” )comprise the vast majority of the American population.

The GOP lost in almost all other ethnic sector ==> Blacks by 90%, Hispanics, and Asian.

They also lost the youth vote (who mostly did not go to the polls this year).

This does not portend well for the future of this country.

It means a large number of our immigrants (legal or illegal) and our future voters are voting Democrat.
