It deserves dispassionate discussion. I concur. That's why I posted it. I like reading other viewpoints. I don't think he's a "RINO".

Thats exactly right. While the use of earmarks has been abused by both parties, I would submit that there are projects/items/programs that are very worthwhile that are currently funded through the earmarking process.Anything that can't stand the light of day on its own does not deserve funding. If they had to justify each expenditure, there would be a lot less money spent.
