Iraq's top Catholic prelate, Chaldean Cardinal Emmanuel III Delly is seen with the coffins of two slain priests at a funeral mass in Baghdad, Iraq, Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010.
Iraqi Christians mourning the loss of one of their beloved priests killed by Muslim extremists
Inside the sanctuary, after the terrorism, with the blood of the Christian martyrs of Iraq on the walls of God's holy house

Thank you for the link. The real tragedy here is that these christians were here long before the Muslims. These are their ancestral homes, passed down for hundreds of generations. Where can they go? Who will open their borders to accept them? Please remember them in your prayers!

Have you talked to your priest about this? Does he think it accurately reflects the situation over there?

I will remember them. My question is why hasn’t our pastor asked us to remember them? Not a peep in the Prayers of the Faithful last Sunday.

The guys over at
Chronicles are consistently right as well as Right. Not liberal enough for many "conservatives", though.

Have you talked to your priest about this? Does he think it accurately reflects the situation over there? He has been in Lebanon for the past month and just returned yesterday. During his absence, I made certain these martyrs were remembered both in the bulletin, and from the altar.
