7500 large for that?! LOL,LOL,LOL.
The BS meter pegged after I read this.
but this wouldn’t make sense then:
“According to sources close to the White House, who put themselves in great danger by even talking to members of the media, the plans to have Obama leave for a visit to India, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan are an attempt to get Obama out of the country while top Democrats can sort through the political disaster created for the party by Obama’s increasingly detached-from-reality presidency. “
Since we know this was planned ahead of time and if this was planned so that dems could work on their problems, they’d tried to solve it BEFORE the election.
But we do know that he smokes. Therefore, he must be really crazy. :)
It may also serve the purpose of lessening the sense that the dems were, as an ideological block, intentionally harming the Republic, as in “we were just following our mentally ill leader’s orders.” But who would buy that?
There is another way to see this. Isn’t it from the Art of War, that you should always make your enemy, er, I mean your opponent, think the opposite of what is true about you? So that when you are weak, you make them think you are strong, and when you are strong, you make them think you are weak. And what disarms the conservative movement better than a false comfort that our opponent is finally about to implode, just like in the movies? Relax, sit back, and enjoy the show, right? Or worry that whenever something is too good to be true, most likely it isnt true. Not always. Just mostly.
Mental illness is real, and I’m not saying it couldn’t be true, but there are reasons to believe we are being played, and we should at least entertain a healthy level of skepticism. If the article is true, it will have a near-term chance to prove itself out. The Asia trip won’t be but a couple of weeks, and the calculated release of the destabilizing information is supposed to happen before then. This is a hypothesis that can, at least theoretically, be falsified. Not time for popcorn. Time for wait and see.
Any idea what this may be about???

If he really believes in a conspiracy who am I to get in the way of his paranoia. But it probably really was an accident.
My 2 cents anyway.
I've figured out what Wayne Madsen does for his day job. He writes these bodice ripper things...
Discounting the rumours flying around re: Obama’s mental state should not be easily discounted. The problem is, this guy’s got access to the “football”.
This is a 10 on the BS meter.
I agree that BO is nuts, but how long ago was the trip planned? The president can’t just up and go on a 10 trip overseas. Had to be planned well in advanced.
Fiction? Probably.
Put out by the Clinton camp? Yep
Will it stop? Nope.
The party has shipped the one off for a 10 day trip abroad, and every day they feed stories to the media questioning his sanity. I bet he’s wee wee’d up!
These types of stories may be designed to drive him insane.
Yep. Later in the article the author corrects it to Amendment 25. There is, of course, no Article 25. And for it to be invoked Biden and a majority of the Cabinet would have to vote for it. A coup d'etat to save the Democratic party? Nobody in that crowd has the brass ones to pull it off.
The behavior cited is not so much erratic as detached and incompetent. I would be interested to learn how much truth there is in this, however:
The troika reportedly consists of First Lady Michelle Obama, presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett, and the president's mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, who resides in the White House.
It has the character more of a slur than a legitimate complaint, frankly, but if true we're in for a long series of leaks from disaffected and displaced staff. This could be fun. A caution, however.
Virtual political guerrilla warfare has broken out between Obama's inner circle on one hand and senior Democratic officials, including outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Party strategist James Carville, former Demcratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean, and, behind-the-scenes, Vice President Joe Biden and former President Bill Clinton, on the other.
This is, essentially, the Arkansas Mafia versus the Chicago gang. What they'll leak will be carefully controlled, and I wouldn't be too terribly surprised to learn that the stuff we've heard from this source so far started there. It'll still be fun.
I wouldn’t worry about that.
Even though he has the ‘football’, the President alone can’t launch or authorize any nuke attack. If I recall, we have a ‘two-man rule’. That is, there has to be a second senior military official who has to concur with the President’s launch order. I believe in this case it would have to be the SecDef as the second man, with the launch order going through them to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
I don’t know about Sec. Gates, but do you see the C-JCS relaying the President’s order when it appears that the President has gone looney-tunes? I don’t see a “bolt-out-of-the-blue” nuke attack, authorized by a possibly insane President, being carried out.
True, but the 'Rats knew they were going to be hurt badly in the midterms. First, midterms are always a loss for any president's party. But when Obamacare and Cap and Trade passed without a single Republican vote, the Dems knew that the backlash fro independents would be fierce. They were right.
I wouldn’t be so worried about Obama attempting to initiate a nuclear strike. I am terrified that if we were launched upon by Iran, Obama might refuse to retaliate.
This smells like pure 190-proof nutjob juice, but if true, the bit with the Presidential seal falling off the podium sounds straight out of the Fuehrerbunker circa April 1945. (Cue the “Downfall” parody!)

Even so...if Iran DID launch against us and we KNEW it was them, and Obama did nothing, wouldn't the American public be crying out for his head? That might be the trigger that causes the American people to rise up en masse and DO something more than cast votes in an election.
