Here is the other thing or dual standard I was thinking about. Liberal women politicians are treated by the Tv media with kid gloves. Pelosi is an evil and corrupt idiot but is treated like a kindly grandmother. Ditto Hillary, Boxer, Murray and even the RINOs like Snowe and Collins. They often avoid TV too. They may be witches behind closed doors but the media treats them like mother thersa.

Contrast any conservative woman. Mcmahon, Angle, ODonnell, Palin, Bachmann et al. If they go on a TV show they ae attacked and asked set up questions like “some people have said you are extreme.”

It is an incredible double standard and no one picks up on it. Bachmann - she does not care - she does not back down. So Dems and libs get softballs and conservatives get attacked.

Women often do not like confrontational or aggressive women. So the Dems get softballs and conservative women get attacked with the first question. Attack, smeared etc. They are ALWAYS on the defensive.

Those are both very blue states and would have most likely been blue no matter who was running.

What it needs to do is simply press the Dems to fix it. Afterall, they broke it. Ryan needs to drop the issue. It’s just going to get Obama re-elected in 2012, and maybe put the Dems back in control of the House.

Good point. Agreed that anyone who tries to fix any of the entitlements with the exception of the new so-called health "care" won't get anywhere.

I could not have said it better. What a bunch of PDS on display. The DBM would not be PDSing on a daily basis if they were not worried about her being a strong candidate. If she is so stupid and inept they would be promoting her.

I don't give a rip about polls in 2010 or any running up to 2012. She will have my support.
