****Why does this guy keep mentioning slurpees as he did again yesterday?****

Because he likes sucking - so he sucks.

or

Because if you are not proficient in sucking - you’ll get a headache.

Of course, Obama has never turned his back on us, but so many Americans have turned their backs on him that it amounts to The Anointed One, as he is sometimes referred, being stripped of something that can never return: his anointment.

Their delusion never ceases to amaze me. "I'm a Progressive...don't bother me with facts." No wonder Jim Jones was so successful. Stupidty abounds in liberal America.

0bama's problem is that he isn't a rock star or the Queen of England - his job isn't ceremonial, it's a real job and he's only capable of going through the motions. His staff is filled with time-servers and incompetents, and worse, with rivals only too happy to see him fail.

You'd have to be pretty sadistic to watch a guy twisting in the wind like that even if he is a garden-variety Lefty elitist with a second-rate intellect and delusions of grandeur. And yeah, maybe I'm a little sadistic. But he's also the President and the country isn't a playpen, and we will pay for years for the incompetence he's already displayed. Two more years of this garbage is going to be tough to stomach, but the prospect of six more years is simply too appalling to contemplate.

I place blame nearly totally on the media...in this country.

THEY wove the story, and spread their fairy dust crapola.

And the idiots in this country..sucked it all up.

The Dow is dollar-denominated, so if it expects inflation it will rise even if its underlying companies don’t gain any actual economic power. That said, few were doubtful that the market would like impending Washington gridlock in preference to the perpetuation of an untrammeled Bummer agenda.

I guaranty you once the piling on begins on Obama the media will forget all about the fact they gave him the presidency. :-))

From the article: It is the story not of policy but rather of personality, and what makes it so captivating is its element of mystery. President Obama, after all, was elected by virtue of his personality, which provided not only contrast but novelty, and was grounded in his near-perfect pitch when addressing audiences large and small.

No, Obama was elected by virtue of the ideals projected onto him by an electorate that yearned for something new and different.

Obama was never more than he is now ... it's the electorate that has changed (i.e., sobered up), not Obama himself.

“The DOW is soaring, too. What does that mean?”

I believe that is a signal the market is very relieved that the Obama agenda has been stopped in its tracks (and if we’re really lucky, partially or fully reversed). Adults are back in charge of the House.

Inflation on the way (another $600 billion pump from the Fed further devalues our currency)...get out of cash and into appreciating assets. Look at what’s happening with gold.

Lack of competence is the reason you do not hire someone. Obama made the point that change was more important than competence. But with no complete history of himself he was willing to share with us (not to mention all the radical associations he had difficulty in explaining away), would it be good change or bad change. Many of us warned others that it would not be good change. They see that now. In 2 years they will be in a position of closure. Let’s hope they make the right decision then. At least now we have some control over the purse strings and oversight of this administration.

“–as Junod puts it, he no longer seems born to fill stadiums like a rock star — “

Yeah, like a “rock star” whom no one had ever heard sing or play, but they hailed his “greatness” none the less.

Morons.
