Ortiz said a late-opening poll and an electrical problem at a voting site might have kept people from voting.Whether true or not, what in the world could be done? Guestimate the number of votes not cast and then proportionally award them in relation to the known vote percentages? Seriously! These guys never fail to push the envelope of credibility.

Early election returns just an hour after poll closing at 7:00 pm CDT.

Its simply too early for anybody to be calling this race, he said. Translated :

We are not finished running this yet

Uh-oh, I think Ortiz is stalling until one of his campaign workers finds an abandoned car with “uncounted” ballots in the trunk...
Democrats. Stealing an election. Again...

After 28 years, he’s not going without a fight.
Actually didn’t think he would have gotten beaten. Farenthold got very lucky in his choices of years to run.

What ballots? I think all the precincts use computer voting machines.

Actually didnt think he would have gotten beaten. Farenthold got very lucky in his choices of years to run. He was originally intending to run in 2012 after redistricting. He decided to run this year because of Obama. He and a lot of other people made Blake's luck.
Ortiz was tired. He didn't have the energy or intelligence to campaign against a viable candidate.

Good luck to Rep Farenthold!
It was a good election day for Texas.
